they keep it so cold for some reason. 68 is their set temperature and it feels like a walking fridge for real. Most of the times I avoid this place because of that. If you are sitting and working then you will start feeling really cold because the air is blowing directly on you

My absolute favorite coffee shop in Raleigh and I LOVE the breakfast sandwiches. My husband is both frugal and picky about his coffee and this is one of the only places he’ll willingly agree to go for coffee because it’s so good. And consistently good - he’s never complained about the coffee (he finds some other places hit and miss). Plus the vibes are 👌🏼 💀 🪴

Great atmosphere. Good coffee. Friendly staff. And a solid menu for breakfast and snacks.

This place sucks! No, just kidding. It’s definitely a vibe. Best London fog I’ve had in the triad area.

The Pancho Villa English muffin was delicious! Their iced Chai is also very good.

I would’ve loved to have given this place a better review. The vibes in this place were immaculate, one of the best in Raleigh. The service was very good with kind and courteous staff. However, the coffee was not good. I got an iced lavender latte. The espresso tasted burnt and bitter, I thought there was no lavender flavoring in the latte at all until I realized that all of the syrup was just chilling at the bottom of the cup and not incorporated into the beverage itself at all. I was really expecting great coffee based on all of the other factors but that is not what I received. My friend who was with me also got a latte and his was just as bad as mine was.

We decided to check this place out on our ongoing quest to find some great coffee spots in the area. The atmosphere was fantastic and we loved the vibe, as well as all of the seating! They are dog friendly on both their front and back patios, but not in the shop itself (obviously). My daughter got an Iced Caramel Latte with oat milk and I got a Golden Milk Matcha with soy milk. The pricing for both was a bit higher than I'd like to pay for 12oz drinks, but seems pretty on par with what the local code shop pricing is lately. I really enjoyed my drink, albeit a little on the sweeter side than I'd prefer. My daughter liked hers for the most part, but said the aftertaste was a bit off for her (too thick and smoky). Overall, it appears to be a great local spot to hang out for coffee and tea. They did have a smaller food menu, but I didn't see much that appeared to be gluten free and vegetarian for me. So I probably wouldn't go there to eat anything.

Plants, delightful combinations of flavor, and plenty of outdoor seating - what’s not to love?

Great coffee with outdoor seating. The indoor area is quite loud but it's very peaceful outside.

In my final hours in Raleigh on a Monday afternoon I found myself reading a book in this coffee shop. I had come to town for a wedding, and had extended my stay to leave Monday evening, forgetting Monday often is a day where businesses take a rest. This coffee shop, draped in plants, dim lighting and bluish green walls with a singer songwriter playlist is the perfect place to get lost in a book, or to study, or listen to gen zers complain about the 9-5 workplace they are destined to enter. If the indoor lounge feel is not your vibe, enjoy an outdoor space hidden in the back away from the street. Take your time, enjoy a pour over, and get lost in this jungle lounge coffee shop with a skeleton hanging to the case of their merchandise, hopefully he was an optimist.

(Update below original review) The drinks were really great which is the main reason we stopped. The staff was very friendly which is always great. The food we ordered seemed like an afterthought however which was the major downfall of this location. I got a roast beef sandwich and it was just “ok” at best. I could easily make a better one at home, plus it took such a long time to come out for how little was actually in them. My wife finished her latte (drinking it slowly) before our sandwiches ever came out. The meat seemed boiled or steamed too… just sad. My wife’s sandwich was actually decent but the chicken was rubbery for some reason so again, food just seemed like an afterthought. IF we were to come back it would just be for the drinks we got. Ultimately there are a plethora of other places to get good drinks and better food than here. We spent $40 for 2 sad anorexic sandwiches and two drinks; a latte and a chai tea. No thanks. **UPDATE April 3rd** Based on the response from the owner, we want to give this place a second chance. They really take their profession serious and it shows in their customer service. Especially since the drinks and customer service were great and it was only the food that was lacking; which based on their response they will be making sure to rectify moving forward. I also want to add for anyone reading this, that it is never my intention to be facetious or aggressive in my reviews. I always try to be honest and straightforward about our experiences and give our opinion as good or bad, or hard to write/read as they might be. I do this so that businesses have the opportunity to implement change if they choose to, just as we should all strive to be better both professional and personal. Kudos to this business. We have a real respect for them and what they do!

Met a friend to catch up. Had a coffee. Friend had cappuccino and a small bite. We both enjoyed what we got and the atmosphere. Next time weather permitting- want to sit outback in enclosed patio space.

What an amazing way to start my morning! This morning I had the pleasure of speaking with Kyleeon. He wasn’t the one behind the register but he did ask me if it was my first time. To my response it was. He recommended a Blueberry Mocha. Like most coffee lovers; we know what we like! Nonetheless, I ordered it and it was amazing I was pleasantly surprised! He checked back to see how it was then told me about the food they offer, I wasn’t expecting to get breakfast but oh man was I glad he did! It was the best sandwich I had ever had and there was no meat OMG!!! The burst of flavors paired with the blueberry mocha my goodness. Thank you so much for an amazing experience! I can not wait to come back and try a different coffee!

I like to try a new coffee shop/ cafe every weekend. I bought the monthly special of rose pistachio latte and the bacon, egg, and cheese on English muffin. I was disappointed by the latte. It did not taste like rose pistachio. I couldn't taste anything until I reached the last sip. However, the breakfast I ordered was very good. The English muffin seemed to be homemade, the bacon was real, and the eggs were seasoned and scrambled (never had scrambled on a sandwich but wasn't disappointed by it).
