This is a great place to hang out in line for a really long time and meet people's dogs. I just wanted coffee.

Sola is one of the best coffee shops in the triangle! If you are looking for great food along with your coffee then it is the best! There is no where else that I have found locally that can put out the consistent quality of coffee drinks and food with the plethora of options that Sola provides. Do yourself a favor and give Sola a try!

One of the best local coffee shops in Raleigh. Coffee is second to none in, including their espresso drinks. The breakfast and lunch menus are quite extensive so don’t overlook Sola as a dining option. Great options for everyone, young and old! I love their house made syrups. The place gets BUSY so seating inside can be hard to find and they turn off wifi during some hours which is still disappointing for those who WFH that need a change of scenery. So plan accordingly if you have kids or guests and can’t wait around for a table.

Sola is the best combination of community coffee shop and good coffee. Try the doughnut minis and an espresso .

I went for a latte and got their egg breakfast sandwich. It's a cute lil shop with it's merch on a wall to browse while you wait in line. The employee was really nice taking my order after I asked some questions and also when they gave me my food. Their egg sandwich is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. It has a great balance of sweet and savory - which is amazing and still trying to figure out the sweet taste. I enjoyed the latte and hope to try their other coffees soon. It's a great place to grab a quick coffee or sit down and enjoy a meal!

I didn't have any food so my feedback is zero in that area. Met a colleague there for a quick drink but looking forward to returning for the full dining experience. Atmosphere is great!

Sola is a really nice little breakfast spot that is really popular. It’s almost too busy for it’s own good. The line to order snakes around inside and is kind of a pain if you’re dining indoors. The food and coffee are both reasonably priced and the service was great. My wife loved the little shop and even got a shirt. My kids loved all the flavors of mini donuts, especially the strawberry. I highly recommend but maybe come on a weekday or less popular time

Sola is run and staffed by the nicest people. Great atmosphere, lots of outdoor seating, good coffee, creative food. The Staff Eggwich is an explosion of flavor. This is hands down the best coffee shop I've ever been to.

Dear reader, I walked in and immediately noticed the warm and inviting atmosphere. From the kind, friendly staff to the indulging smell of decadent food and fresh-off-the-bar coffee. As we perused the menu we were happily overwhelmed by the plethora of mouthwatering options. And then the moment came, the moment of “the reception of the feast.” Upon just the first bite our tastebuds began to dance like a throng of angels in a field of daisies. Overjoyed we were would be a great and terrible understatement. The brekky sandies- remarkable. The steel cut oats- exquisitely tasteful. The coffee- sensational. Welcome to Sola Coffee Cafe, The Eighth Wonder of The World.

A little slice of heaven on earth. Order the Graystone….it will be one of the best decisions you’ve made this week.

I find it very odd that they don’t provide Wi-Fi to paying customers until 1 PM. Most people want to grab a coffee and work and then will stick around until noon to get lunch at the same location. It’s inconvenient for those of us who want coffee + reliable Wi-Fi, so unfortunately I won’t be coming back. Also, their Wi-Fi kept turning off and on during my time there. The perks are the coffee was good and the outdoor patio is spacious and dog-friendly with plenty of parking options.

I have always loved Sola however today I paid more for extra salmon on my protein bowl. They gave me the normal amount of salmon and I tipped the girl at the register because she was so kind. I'm disappointed with my meal today and I will not be paying for extra salmon or meat again because I paid for them to just take extra money from me instead of adding extra salmon. Where is the integrity? Very sad probably won't be eating at Sola for awhile

I've been wanting to try this place for months and it did not disappoint! I love the low key vibe, the beautiful interior, outdoor, dog friendly patio, friendly servers and delicious offerings.

Staff eggwich is the bomb! The espresso donuts are delicious! My husband and I love coming here before we treat patients for our morning coffee fix!

Hot chocolate and doughnuts were great and great prices. Staff was all really nice (and the cashier had a good doughnut type recommendation). The pesto sandwich was average but for a half sandwich and chips at 7$ I was happy--would be nice if it came with a pickle :)

I'm sure the coffee and food are great, but they don't offer WiFi during working hours. I get it but it's not advertised anywhere. Slightly disappointed.

Every town has a few places that are near and dear to the locals and this is one of those places in Raleigh. This is not just a coffee shop but a gathering place. As I look around the room there are people of all cultures here and all are welcome. All are served with a friendly and welcoming smile. Although the line for breakfast is typically out the door on a Saturday morning, it moves quickly as does the time. There is a good variety of coffee, teas, and other drinks and the food is amazing. Everything is made fresh daily. I highly recommend the Staff Eggwich - a bagel of your choice with cream cheese, sausage patty, scrambled egg, bacon, and maple siracha. The cinnamon mini donuts are also a must.

I used to love Sola, but it has gotten too crowded. Don't expect to find a seat unless you go when they open at 7am. They shortened their hours during COVID and never went back to normal for some reason. Anyone with a job doesn't get to enjoy Sola Mon-Fri since they close so early. Also, if they are going to cut off wifi so people don't camp out there should also be rules to keep people without laptops from hogging spots for hours too when it's obviously busy.

Sola is my favorite coffee shop in the Triangle. It has survived medieval-like pressure to play by the rules of mainstream and hipster coffee, saying "Here I stand. I can do no other." (That was a lame joke for the reformed types) Here's the real reasons why you should answer "Sola-Alone" when asked what you believe is the best coffee in RDU—sorry, no more lame jokes: Toast bar Full menu Mini doughnuts Bottled and tap beer Music on Friday nights Best rewards program in the Triangle There's a room you can reserve for groups Reusable cups for water (Most shops aren't doing this unfortunately so it makes Sola stand out). If I wanted Sola to improve, I would replace a couple of chairs and tables near the window wall to the right of the entrance with a comfortable Sofa. If they did this, they would probably be the only shop with a Sofa. #SolaSofa Tip: The "I believe in Raleigh" mural in the back is a great place to take a photo.
