Best cup of coffee I've ever had. Don't plan on getting any schoolwork done here, they have a lot of websites blocked on their wifi--it's a good place to get coffee with a friend so I think this was a good decision.

I thought the actual coffee here was kinda mid. Didn’t have any special flavors, but I will say I’m not a fan of beans from the place they source their’s (I totally forgot what country it was) so your mileage will vary. Great vibes, not a super big coffee shop so you may have trouble getting a table to do work at.

The tea was good and the barista’s were kind but I probably wouldn’t eat anything from here again. I wanted to try their orange spice muffins and the only ones they had available were exposed and sitting on top of the display case. I asked one of the baristas how long they had been sitting there and she told me for three hours. We are still in the middle of a pandemic so leaving food uncovered for so long is a bit concerning. The muffin I did get ‘to go’ turned out to still be raw and uncooked in the middle. I wish I had tried the muffin before I left the shop but no one really expects to be ordering a half uncooked baked good from a cafe. The panini was just okay still a little cold inside. They heat up all their baked goods in a little microwave so maybe that’s why.

I really like the atmosphere and decor of Global Village. I used to go in college and so when I went today I was not sure what to expect since it is under new ownership, but I really like it. I got a medium vanilla latte hot and it was really good.

This is by far my favorite place on campus! The cafe Saigon is my current favorite drink, but their cinnamon and pumpkin mochas are great when in season too! The coffee cake is also really great, and so is the atmosphere!!

Their coffee is the best in Raleigh. Also, they have the best breakfast options at affordable prices.

Could be one of the best mochas I've had. Cool spot overall. Also had a piece of coffee cake, which was really dense, good flavor though.

This used to be my favorite place to get coffee and breakfast pastries/sandwiches. I went in today, 12/17/2022 and ordered a coffee and a blueberry muffin. The girl at the counter assured me there’s no nuts in the muffin, let alone peanuts. To my surprise I get my pastry and it’s COVERED IN NUTS. I approached the counter again, and was met with hesitation and uncertainty. Terrible service, honestly appalling. They’ll be getting a visiting from an inspector soon, labeling is horrific and dangerous to customers.

My wife and I came by here today to grab some coffee. The place is pretty neat inside, but was a little dirty and definitely busy. It was difficult to find seating and our table had crumbs on it. Our service was really good and the batista was friendly. The lattes were a little strong and overpowering compared to most other lattes that we've had. My wife said she liked her Hazelnut Latte, although she said it was strong. My Chai Tea Latte was spiced super strong for my liking, but our mugs were pretty cool.

Great coffee at a good price and always available in the afternoon which is when I usually get coffee. Polite and engaging counter staff, too. My new happy place!

This is a nice & cozy, little organic cafe near the university. It has a modern design, nice lighting and an overall friendly vibe. The coffee was tasty, as was the overnight oats breakfast treat. I would recommend this spot to my fellow coffee lovers.

I used to come to global village almost every day for a scone & tea before class, but after the reno & recent changes I don’t think that’ll be happening anymore. The drinks are still great, the baristas are still nice, but the new pastries are oily, slimy, heavy, and gross. They kind of make me queasy. I don’t know where the old best-scones-on-Hillsborough went, but I miss them :(

Global village has really good coffee and a wonderfully nice staff. They also have the best hot chocolate I've ever had! The owner is incredibly nice and love talking to him! My go to's are their hot chocolate, iced frappe, or mango smoothie. The only problem is that there aren't a lot of outlets and you can only charge your stuff if you are sitting in certain areas.
