The food looks/taste fake, like they took it from the freezer and put it in the microwave. The iced coffee is very watered down, but the vibe of the shop is cute. Service was rude also.
This is a nice coffee shop with good vibes inside. They have yummy staples and some new creative drinks! The team is always friendly and the orders come out pretty quickly. Outdoor seating is available with lots of parking.
This place is fine. The espresso is very good, there is plenty of parking, and the inside has a lot of seating. The only thing I would say is, they put a lot of ice in their iced drinks. Pictured is a matcha latte that has ONLY ice left. It just feels a little like a ripoff. So ask for light ice, kind stranger :)
Beautiful decor, not too busy at 11 am, friendly and helpful staff, they were out a few items and helped me figure out what to get instead. Service was quick. Pricing is a bit steep, but the quality is great. I got the Iced White Mocha Latte with Oat Milk and a breakfast sandwhich both were well made and delicious.
Good coffee, good selection, not the nicest employees
The products were good, but the service was very slow. The workers seemed to be inattentive. They were talking to each other the whole time including when I was ordering. My iced chai latte took 10 minutes to make without a line in front of me, and 3 workers. The chai was good, but not 10 minutes good.
Some of the things that make Deja Brew better than other coffee shops in Raleigh is: it has a covered patio area and lots of outdoor seating. And if you decide to have your food/drink indoors, they have a lot of seating inside, too. They even have a few upholdstered comfy highback chairs and a couch. I like the taste of their coffee and it costs less than the other guys. Deja Brew also has alcohol drinks, artwork for sale, and even an ATM machine.
My husband and I odered two small cappuccinos and boy were they small! They were also completely tepid and barely had any coffee in them. Mostly milk. Very disappointed and probably won't be coming back unfortunately.
Nice little spot post eye doc appointment up the road. Mid-morning visit for a mocha. I ordered the triple, a touch sweet for my palette, so I'd probably try a single or double next time. There's a drive-thru if you're in a rush or just don't want to go in. A good number of tables and other types of seating in and out. Some baked goods and other food menu items that I'd try next time. Boring pic of a to-go cup - seems like that's what they use even for 'dine-in'. Maybe a covid leftover.
I had a large order that I'd called ahead for, Caterine and the staff were absolutely fantastic! They took extra care to make sure everything was just as it should be, and labeled each person's name on their drink. I'm so pleased and a customer for life!
I just went by today and Why is the blonde younger girl not able to put her pants up I just saw her under where while she was handing me my cup her pants are not even able to fit and we shouldn't see the people you have workung under wear at all .. Yuck 🤮 This store needs to get better staff The 2 blondes and the young guy with a frizzy type hair type needs to go .. The new people the new young guy with frizzy hair and the young blonde girl have no clue or what they are doing ... Can't come back as long as they work ... Where is the older guys with red hair ?? This may explain why prices are different from time to time .. Why is pricing changing every other day ? I literally get the same iced coffee large every where I go and every day I pay something different in price at all coffee shops every day 😫😩.. it's seems so shady just left the same review for Starbucks as well...
Stopped by here after work with my wife and grabbed some coffee. This place has neat pictures but didn't feel as nice inside when we saw it in person. It's much darker inside, which is fine. The seating is nice, but it was super busy during our visit, so outdoor seating Is available as well. The service was great and my iced Chai Latte was tasty.
One of the biggest things I look for when choosing a coffee shop is, “Do they use mugs?” Coffee is literally a hug in a mug, and it is simply just the best way to drink coffee in my opinion. I was excited to try this place when I saw pictures of mugs, but it seems they no longer use them. I had to settle for a cardboard cup. The vanilla latte was great, though! I do believe it would’ve tasted even better in a mug though.
This is great meeting place...at least that is what it serves for me and my acquittances.
It my must have to go coffee shop!! The baristas are all great and the coffee is made fresh and is super delish!! I love supporting my local coffee shop!!
I’ve only been here twice, but both times the food/drink has been great. Tasty bakery items and the honey cold brew is excellent! When I went inside, there wasn’t a lot of room for people waiting on to-go orders, and the girl taking my order didn’t know what the different bakery items were. Today I did the drive-through which was super quick and easy. Very convenient on a cold morning.
Excuses after excuses. The owners don’t care and just want your money. They don’t train employees correctly and the store gives out expired coffee all the time. They will say it’s freshly brewed by the hour or 2. But that’s not true I guess lying is the new business tactic.
Pretty good coffee. The pesto turkey ciabatta was made on some really good ciabatta bread. It was always busy and is clearly a neighborhood favorite. What I didn’t like was that one particular trash can had several days worth of coffee drippings on it. And it was nearly overflowing when I left, despite the staff not being incredibly busy. Typically if a detail like that is off in a restaurant, their are other things that are off as well. However given how much myself and others enjoyed the food and spending time there I would recommend you stop in there and see if it’s for you
Expect to get expired coffee if you go here around 12pm to 4pm they don’t change it unless they’re out of coffee. Otherwise you’re drinking coffee that was brewed when they first open. I don’t know why they sell food when they’re out of most ingredients everyday. None of the baristas know what they’re doing and they don’t care to either. The place looks a complete mess. They have random pastry’s on display with no kind of labeling. I wouldn’t be surprised if people were served outdated pastries. I also overheard baristas talking about how they only make 8$ an hour so why should they work harder. 8$ an hour? That’s ridiculous. Who can live off 8$ an hour. Even if you’re a high school kid you can find a better job or similar job that pays you fairly. It’s not hard to train your employees right and pay them fairly. Maybe if you did they would work harder for you. This place will probably close down in a year or two.
Classic coffee house vibe. Good place to meet or get some work done. Food was tolerable though not impressive. Would pass on that.
