Amazing bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. Thank you!
The beacon egg cheese bagel was great. Taste like a sandwich from home.( NYC ) We did takeout the first day. Dine in the next.
I like this place. Good breakfast sandwhichs and coffee
I have been coming here for 2 years, and I used to love this place. I am probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet and usually people reciprocate my positive attitude, but the service I received here was the worst. The main guy there with the glasses has the worst customer service. If you are looking for good food with ZERO customer service, I would recommend. And even though I have not had good experience here lately, I still decided to give them another chance, and they ended up adding really spicy sauce to my regular order which I never get. I would recommend Jubala Village, Morning Times, or Manhattan Cafe for good food and service! :)
I cannot wait to get chicken salad sandwiches from here everyday I'm in my office!! Food & drinks are delicious and the staff is very friendly.
How are you not going to toast a Ruben dude? Like, that's an integral part of making a Ruben. The woman at the counter was nice.
Should have read reviews before going to this place. Went here to grab a quick bite for breakfast and I can say the the food and price were good, the service though, not so much. The guy who took our order, who I assume was the manager, had the driest and grouchiest attitude while taking our order. He was leaned up against counter and sort of rushing us to finish giving him our order. As we were eating, I looked at the reviews and saw that his attitude seems to be a common thing with customers. The woman who was working with him was a sweetheart in taking our coffee order. Super patient and friendly.
This place is great! The staff is very friendly and they have great area to lounge out front. It’s tucked back behind another store which is a shame that they are hidden since they are so good. Their food is cook to order and everything is very fresh. Their coffee is delicious so stop going to that major chain across the way and give this place a try!
I go here at least twice a week for the past 3 years (minus one year for covid). I would put quality and consistency at a 3 star typically but today was the straw that broke the camels back. I ordered a grilled cheese and cup of tomato bisque. On the chalkboard it says a cup of soup should be $5.49 and now it is $7.99 in the POS. I made a comment about it and they said they just haven't updated the board yet. Whatever. The thing that made me write a bad review is that my grilled cheese WAS NOT GRILLED. IT WAS LITERALLY WHITE BREAD WITH CHEESE ON IT. I paid $14 for a cup of bisque and white bread with cheese on it. I'm done. I cannot justify going here with EH service all the time. If you are going to charge that much for soup and a sandwich, make sure its right at least.
The Cary location is so much better. At this location the coffee and food is mediocre at best and the staff is rude.
Excellent ☕ coffee shop and cafe in the heart of downtown. I stopped I'm here to avoid the chain coffee shop next door. The staff were so friendly and cheerful and they served me a delicious cup of coffee and had a smattering of 🥯 bagels, 🥪 sandwiches, 🍳 breakfast burritos, and more. This location also had ♿ handicap accessible seating, 🚻restrooms, and seats indoors and outdoors.
If I could give zero stars I would. I went in today with a group of co-workers, and the guy with glasses came from the kitchen and got in my face and instructed me to close the door as we were walking in. He was literally yelling like a maniac! There was a long line, and we were all trying to stay together, so we stood in line at the door, and waited to order. We were all in disbelief, but given our time crunch, we proceeded to order our food. The guy continued to yell at other patrons that came in. I started to notice that he mainly took on this tone with the minorities that entered the establishment. He even yelled at a black police officer that came to get food, and the officer left without ordering. It's unfortunate because the food was pretty good, but I will never visit this establishment again. It seems other people have had this experience based on the reviews, so I doubt he or the owner care.
Delicious coffee, tasty breakfast sandwiches, and friendly staff. What more could you ask for!?
Awesome turkey provolone sandwich! Lots of locals here so you know it’s good!
Great food and a very welcoming feel
Good coffee the lady that took my order was friendly and helpful, but the guy in the back (manager?) has a serious attitude problem. He was extremely rude, in fact downright nasty, to a number of customers while I was there. I’ll wait in line at Starbuck’s the next time I’m in downtown Raleigh.
I work across the street so I've been coming here quite often. The food has been consistently good, especially for the price. I got a breakfast torta today with their house blend coffee and both were very good. A lot of people complain about the "rude" service and yes there is one guy that comes off a bit short and frantic once it gets to around lunch rush but I've never had a problem with it. People just need to grow thicker skins.
The guy with the glasses was extremely rude to our group. I will not be returning.
Loved this place since I was young
Rude customer service. “I” will spend my money somewhere else
