I love everything about this place. Locally owned by a sweet lady who is always here. Uniquely crafted lattes that you won't find anywhere else, lots of windows, stable wifi, and delicious pastries. They source Larry's beans which are delicious and a nice change from counter culture that most coffee shops in the area source.
Excellent latte... Full of flavors!
Modern, bright and cozy atmosphere. Friendly owner and staff. Very out of balance lattes made with good ingredients (I believe the barista that served me was training so you may have a different experience). Pastries were too stale to determine their quality. But lamination looked good and they weren’t overly sweet. With a handful of great lattes in Raleigh I would not chose to spend my money here.

Stopped in here today and had the best chai latte and pecan croissant. The customer service was A1. So happy I stumbled upon this place.
Absolutely love the Taj Mahal Latte! Latte with honey, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, so yummy! The staff was super friendly too and interior was nice :)
Great flavor of coffee and Mexican coffee. Also, I had the pecan croissant and it was so delightful. It was wet it a good way and not overly sweet. Next time I’ll be back for the coffee flight. it’s a great idea.
Cute coffee shop with lots of different drink options. I had the chocolate chip pumpkin muffin and it was delicious! The server was also very friendly.
Randomly walked in due to a sign on the street. Strawberry matcha was amazing with real strawberry puree! The Milky way latte was one of a kind and absolute delicious. The barista definitely had pride in the beverages they made, taking the time to talk to us about them and the ingredients they used.

Very delicious Taj Majal latte and chai latte! Barista was friendly and accommodating and made our drinks less sweet upon request. Lovely fairy lights inside and convenient downtown location. Quiet and peaceful. Good prices

As a lover of good coffee and local businesses, this is now my favorite coffee shop. They have good music, Raleigh roasted beans, fresh tasting espresso, perfect cheese danishes, my lord there is nothing wrong with this place. It has a very modern yet rustic atmosphere. I would highly recommend for dates and as a place to study.
A friend recommended 42 and Lawrence. I went for the first time, yesterday, and it was an amazing experience. I had a Lavender Rose Vanilla Latte and it was amazing. It was a welcoming place and the staff was awesome. I would highly recommend this place if you just want to sit down and enjoy a great cup of coffee.
Other than people outside spewing hate (not associated with the cafe FYI), inside is always nice. The coffee choices are great. And the people are wonderful.
Lovely corner for people watching. Outside seating available. Ample inside seating for intimate conversations as well as communal experience. Good Americano coffee, great selection of teas including herbal, served iced or hot. Nice counter display adds to the flow of the store. Bathrooms for patrons only.

Home of one of the best chai lattes I've ever had. We were greeted well and had questions answered thoroughly by the staff. Atmosphere was a typical cafe experience however I did notice that the Staff communicated well with one another and seemed to enjoy working there.
