I absolutely love the ambiance here. This book store is also a quaint cozy coffee shop offering an array of coffee and tea. They also offer baked goods made in house.
Person at counter was not courteous! Did not say anything except to take order even after i spoke good morning & no thank you or have good day after spending $20 in store

We happened upon this place when searching for coffee, and we were so pleased with this find! The atmosphere is lovely, so calm and relaxing. The speciality coffees are so unique. There are great nooks throughout the space to study/work remotely.
This bookstore is the type you want to find in every town - located in downtown Morganton a block or two over from the movie theater and a cute ice cream shop Toasted and Rolled. The have a wide variety of books and treats. They host special events that you can be notified of via email when you sign up. I particularly like the statue heads in each genre section that are uniquely decorated or themed.
Spectacular coffee, and great atmosphere. The owner is frequently there, and along with staff, all incredibly friendly and helpful. Perfect place to spend an afternoon.

This place is incredible! The location is ideal and parking is usually available. Their selection is fascinating and the atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. The coffee is delicious with several varieties. The young lady behind the counter was profession and courteous and added a nice touch to the experience.
The host pulled a great shot. The vibe was immaculate. The owners were gracious. The dogs thought themselves to be humans. What more can you ask for?
Curated book store with a welcoming atmosphere and coffee bar. You may not find a specific title, but you'll certainly find an interesting book or two if you keep an open mind and love of reading alive.

I can't imagine a more perfect bookstore. The aesthetics are so pleasing, the cafe is wonderful, and they have a surprisingly diverse selection of books for a smaller store. There are multiple places to sit and relax while enjoying a Rowling Latte or Lemon Blueberry scone, or while browsing the shelves for your next read. Downtown Morganton is so fortunate to have such a treasure within walking distance. I hope it lasts for as long as I'm here!
