This place is absolutely amazing. I'm a 12 year Army veteran. When my with, 5 month old son and I came in we were welcomed with open arms, hugs, and handshakes. This is a family of vererans who truly understand the importance of taking care of each other. I've never felt more at home than in this wonderful establishment. If you're a veteran, you MUST visit these amazing people.
A great experience. I've attended several of their gatherings and meetings. It's a great experience and opportunity to re-live our American history.
I ventured into Richard's Coffee Shop on Thursday (9-23-'21) and was taken back by the genuine friendly welcoming I received from everyone there. I am a USAF Vietnam Veteran and this moment in my life was just so heart warming. I had a hard time holding back the tears it was so emotional. I have to say, that VETERANS are a really great close knit band of brothers, it makes my heart ❤ feel good to be one of many, past and present. GOD BLESS each and everyone of them! GOD BLESS AMERICA!
A must see for any war vet.
It's the most compassionate and supporting place for vets, active duty and all who walk through It's doors. No vet ever need be alone when you have so many good brothers and sisters to connect with and share all of your life's experiences. I love you all and will always be so grateful for the freedoms you've given me, my family and everyone in the great USA. You'll always be in my heart and never, ever forgotten. ♥ I thank you so much for embracing my 22 Year old Marine, Darius Anderson, who visited. He will be in mooresville visiting in June. as a U.S. Army Veteran of NC I love this place been here twice they welcome Armed Forces Veterans with open arms. Don't Come into this establishment if your going to bad mouth American Troops this isnt the place
Great place and purpose. Over 60,000 veterans in NC. We must never forget the price paid.
Except for Church and my children's home there isn't a more warm and inviting place.
So much to see and learn in an inviting atmosphere.

Very friendly and knowledgeable! It's been 20 yrs since my enlistment ended in the U.S. Navy and I've never been treated with such dignity and respect as they shown me! They welcomed me as if they've known me my whole life. Very much recommend to stop by and check it all out and get a good cup of coffee at the same time!

Great food. Many things to look at. There's great music on Saturday mornings. Very clean and friendly place.
You walk in and you are at a museum tell me about the history of the MILITARY it is nice and that is just in front of the building and in the back of the building you see more HISTORY so everybody see it for your self it's COOL 😎 .
Great place...a jewel on a main street that I hope stays there forever. Saturday mornings for breakfast has become a tradition for my family. Im reminded of my dad when I go there. He was a 12year Army vet. The lady who said its crowded and loud is missing the point. Its a place for community. People talking is to be expected...the music isnt for your personal entertainment...its for the vets who are playing together.
I am a Veteran from Texas and we went to visit. My husband was telling me about a place where all the Veterans meet. I was not disappointed. This is the most welcoming place for Veterans and run by Veterans that I have ever been in. And the best part...they all talk to each other. I felt like I was in someones home at a family reuinion. Please please please never ever close down. My generation and the ones to come really need this place to stick around.
Great little place for vets to visit, lots of memorabilia from all the branches of service. Very friendly people and lots of good tips.
This coffee shop is far from your standard shop. What I didn't know was that it was also a museum to honor veterans. It is an amazing experience, especially if you are a veteran. If you are looking for a quick coffee, then go elsewhere. If you are looking for a coffee and some really great company, come here. You will be welcomed from the heart.
Really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. They really go over the top to make you feel welcome.
