This is a really fun house turned book store. They have great coffee and smoothies, and an excellent selection of new and used books. They do lots of trivia night events as well as story times for younger kids. One of my favorite places to visit.
I'm a native and this is my favorite place to treat myself. They have muffins, bagel, cookies, and so much more! I don't like books but this place makes me like books if that makes sense. All the workers are great, and the drinks are amazing. <3 love you guys!! 🐊🐊
Everyone here is pro! Top notch service. It always feels like a cozy corner with a coffee and a book. The staff is kind and helpful, the coffee is great, and soo many books.... local craft also. 👌
Best place for eating the breakfast!
It is a nice cozy place with a good selection of used and new books.
This place is HEAVEN! Their Grand Slam iced latte is delicious & under $7 for a large!!! Recently has a Apple danish and chocolate muffin and they were both better than I expected! ($2.95 each) I love supporting a small business and I love that I can send my lightly used books their for a create for their thrift section as well!!!!
Cute bookstore ! Loved that they had authors advertising their books on the day I went.
I love this place, they are so kind and they also give good smoothies! I felt so at home and it’s quiet, I’m in love.🥰
A fantastic bookstore and coffee shop combo! They offer new and used books of all varieties, no genre shaming! There's also ample choices of coffee and flavoring (seriously, the list is three columns long on a regular sheet of paper). If you don't have time to pop in, they also have a drive thru window for coffee purchases. They also hold a variety of events every month and are a store filled with joyous and helpful staff. Definitely recommend!
Love this place and everyone who I've met working here!
You will find this place awesome if you are found of books and coffee! My kid who loves stories found what she looked for here and enjoyed herself. The books prices are reasonable. The staff are very kind and friendly. The only thing that I enjoyed less is the amount of sugar in the cookies, otherwise it would be perfect.
Best coffee in all of Kannapolis with hands down the SWEETEST, most caring workers I’ve ever met. 10/10 every time
Went to this amazing little gem today wanting something different than coffee. The barista Jenn recommended the Blarney Stone as a nod to Mardi Gras. Highly recommend! If was a frozen key lime flavored treat! I perused the bookstore while I waited (not a long wait at all) and found a true crime novel by my favorite author John Douglas. Jenn and Scott were great book conversationalist as they were extremely knowledgeable and recognized John Douglas and his work (not many do). Again, highly recommend this cozy friendly place for great drinks and books!
Super sweet people running this establishment and a huge selection of books for all types of readers. I love the kids section for my toddlers and the non-fiction for myself. The muffins are absolutely heavenly and everything is reasonably priced. Definitely making it a regular stop on my commute.
Great place people where very friendly.
Great place to browse and buy a book, grab a cup of coffee and work a little (they have free Wi-Fi). The staff is friendly and clientele is quiet which are great for working! Definitely stopping here next time I’m in the area.
Coffee was great . Service was great everyone was friendly. Husband was looking for a bible .they just gave it to him.
Love the atmosphere and the coffee is great!
Coffee is good, no issues with that. The low rating, however, is due to inconsistency in the sizes of their drinks. I’ve gone consistently to this coffee shop over the course of the last year, and at first there were no issues. But as of the last 3 maybe 4 trips, we’ve begun to pick up on the sizing of the drinks we’re receiving as totally different than previous times. The same drink is ordered each visit, and it’s always a large macchiato & a small coffee of some variance. The first visits, the large was consistent with what anyone would consider a large coffee from a smaller shop, but now the large is DRASTICALLY smaller, I’d say in comparison, it’s roughly in between a Starbucks Tall & Grande. The small cup has stayed the same throughout each trip, so that doesn’t seem to have changed. At this point, we’ve unfortunately chalked it up to the young people working the drive thru window, expecting to be tipped & when they are familiar with a vehicle that doesn’t routinely tip, they decide they’ll take it upon themselves to charge us for a large, but serve us with a reg. (Medium) size or smaller. The tip culture in this world has gotten completely absurd, if we felt as if you as a barista DESERVED a tip, you would have gotten one… but things like this are the main reason we don’t believe everyone deserves a tip. Say we had tipped, we’d be left leaving the shop with an unpleased transaction of receiving half the coffee we paid for. We love supporting small businesses, which is why we’ve chose to come back time & time again, to only be served with a repeat of the same issue. $13 spent on two small coffees is a bit unreasonable considering there are copious amounts of alternative coffee spots in the area that will match their pricing with their sizing. All in all, your baristas should have received their much needed tips in the midst of their eager overcharging, & UNDER providing of the correct amount of coffee purchased.
Friendly service, nice variety, good time
