Cute coffee shop in the basement of a hotel, they’ve done a good job with the atmosphere. The staff was friendly. The first couple of coffee drinks we asked for weren’t available, not a big deal though. Avocado toast was disappointing - sliced avocado served on plain, un-toasted bread with a bland dressing. Next time we’ll try pastries there instead.
Great coffee, reasonable selection of delicious food, nice spot hiding right down stairs
Really cool and “hidden” coffee shop downstairs in the Esquire. Great service and cool atmosphere.
This coffee shop is one of the cutest and cleanest places we've seen and Monique was the best batista we've ever had! Definitely recommend!!
Ms. Monique was Amazing! Nice coffee shop, beautiful💕
Coffee with sunrise. The only spot open early enough for sunrise with a hot cup.
The staff was very welcoming, the food was delicious, and the coffee was perfect. Highly recommend stopping in. Make sure to sit and stay awhile, the vibe is very relaxed and comfortable.
Skip the upstairs restaurant, the food at Notary Coffee shop is delicious, fresh and seasoned correctly.
Best kept Secret on Main Street Downtown Gastonia. Nice clean and refreshing environment. For Coffee Lunch or Dinner and Evening Cocktails.
Love, love, love this place! Great aesthetics, but even better coffee and company! Staff is very friendly. Almost has a speak easy vibe, which is cool! Great coffee shop music and overall atmosphere! Definitely need to check this one out! Located downstairs in the Esquire Hotel.
The perfect coffee spot! Always love to see what specialty drinks they are whipping up too
This place is so cool!! It took me a minute to find but the lady at the front desk of The Esquire Hotel was super nice. The coffee and breakfast sandwich was amazing. Great atmosphere! I will be telling everyone about this place. Thanks for the great coffee and food!
Delicious pastries and coffee! Amazing attention to detail on presentation! Definitely recommend! ☕️🥐😍
Some of the best grits I've ever had; stone-ground, slow-cooked, and locally-sourced, you can't get better than that. Also they had great coffee roasted in Charlotte. It's a chill hang out in the basement of the Esquire with a great view from the roof if you want. I do all my writing there.
