Walked in near closing time, still had an amazing selection. Couldn't decide between scone or muffin. Bought two muffins and the delightful young lady surprised us by putting a scone in our bag. Best scone ever!
Amazing except for one of the employees screamed at us for leaving the door open, besides that amazing but that dude should be fired

The doughnuts and pastries are delicious. Their chocolate croissant is amazing. The staff is unbelievably nice and always helpful.
Large selection of wonderful pastries and desserts. Coffee was very good as well.

Very good, but they are ALWAYS closed when we come. I don’t know why but it feels like they are never open and I can not find their hours anywhere on their website
Super friendly staff! Amazing pastries, donuts, and drinks. This is our favorite place to go for breakfast when we come to Corolla each year! Highly recommend!
Such a great find on our vacation to Corolla! The iced mocha was delicious and priced right, as were the pastries we got. The staff were friendly and efficient. Super refreshing to find a homey, affordable coffee shop/bakery here
We have tried almost everything and its all amazing. From the donuts to the personalized cake (chocolate with peanut butter filling and ganache drip). Excellent!! Would come back here for sure.
Absolutely fantastic place! Coffee is delicious and the pastries and donuts are fresh and outstanding. The people are nice and welcoming. They're efficient without ever making you feel rushed even during their busiest time. The atmosphere is welcoming and the outdoor seating area and surrounding shops and miniature golf course are just adorable! I strongly believe that the energy of a business and the people behind the counter are what make or break a place most of the time and this place has just nailed it! They all seem to truly enjoy what they are doing! We have stopped in for donuts, pastries, and coffee every morning this week and will continue to do so for the rest of the week. We will stop in tomorrow for our regular coffee and breakfast order and I think we'll grab a pie and a couple of other treats for dessert as well. I'm so glad our crew discovered this place! You absolutely must stop in if you're ever in Carolla!
Literally my favorite place in the outer banks for coffee, pastries and service! The prices are also spot on. I just love coming here in the mornings. The line is never too long and the servers are happy to be there. The recipes are delicious and the vibe is super chill. Thank you Northern Lights for making such a great place for the outer banks to enjoy. I will be coming here for many years to come <3

Cute little hidden gem we stopped at first thing in the morning for our search for a coffee/bakery place. Everyone was really friendly & the food was fresh. I had the Vietnamese Iced Coffee & Chocolate Croissant. Really enjoyed them both. My aunts/uncle's got the cinnamon roll (which was huge!), A Scone & spinach croissant. We also tried the Nutella Latte. Everything was very delicious. It was nice to sit outside at the tables they had & enjoy our meal. It is also right next to a mini golf place so If you're in the mood - coffee & mini golf. The next time we're back in OBX, we shall stop by again!
This place was fabulous! Our group really enjoyed the variety of donuts and pastries we tried. The almond croissant, blueberry coffee cake and key lime pie donuts were outstanding!
Great little bakery! Workers were very pleasant and friendly, donuts were delicious. There was a line when we arrived but it moved quickly. Really a charming place. Sad we didn’t try it until the last day of our vacation!
Looked over menu and went for a breakfast sandwich. Waited over a half hour in line only to find out “they aren’t doing them right now”. not sold out, just not doing them. So I had a pre made ham and cheese croissant which was heated in the microwave. Very good taste but all of the meat and cheese was in the center. Got some donuts and they were very good as well. Not much of a sense of urgency which makes the wait long.
