Delicious 🤤. The maple bacon and sunrise are amazing.
After hearing rave reviews from friends and family for a couple of years, we finally found ourselves in the vicinity of this renowned donut shop. True to its reputation, the experience was truly delightful. One of the highlights is the unique concept of customizing your own donut with a variety of coatings, toppings, and drizzles. The donuts themselves were nothing short of fantastic—hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. If you happen to be in the area, we highly recommend paying a visit. We certainly plan to return for another round of delectable donut creations.
Best donuts ever!!!! You can even order and customize your own donut combinations!! A must have anywhere. Please bring one to Northern Kentucky.
The donut experience of your lifetime. This is a small, quaint, local to Corolla shop that has the best views of the bay! You customize your donut with choice of coating, topping and drizzle. They are cooked to order so you get them literally 15 seconds after being cooked. Soft, warm, and perfect ratio of dough to toppings. Perfectly satisfying in every way! The manager took his time to explain how to order and how they are a one-of-a-kind shop, despite being super busy. About $2.00 a donut and they sell affordable souvenirs, close to a candy/taffy shop, restaurant, and right on the boardwalk. Free sunsets too!!!!
It's awesome very sort time you have to wait vary nice people and donuts taste fantastic
Unmatched. The wait wasn't too bad even with the amount of people around and nothing beats a fresh donut. Absolutely better than Dunkin and not too pricey especially for its location
They won't let you pre-order or specify a custom dozen online. They force you to choose their assortment of pre-selected dozen. Had to drive to the Duck location to choose what I wanted.
Very efficient. We’ve been to ones in VA and they are soooo slow. You can tell they know what they’re doing here. They were quick to take orders and make the donuts. Staff was constantly cleaning and I was there towards opening. It was clean and donuts were great!
Duck donuts is part of the experience of OBX. Though they've franchised since then, it's always so much better in OBX getting dounts for the whole house!
We went Thursday at 10:30 and we’re told it was a 45+ minute wait. So we decided to just go the next day. Tried ordering online the prior afternoon and the website said it wasn’t able to take orders. Wife was in line at 7:20 the next morning and didn’t get donuts in hand until 9:35. Ridiculous. No donut is worth a 2+ hour wait.
BEST DONUTS EVER!!!! They’re so skilled at making them and they taste so amazing!! It’s not the cheap batter either, it’s like eating a cake! 1000/10 would eat at again ong!
3 stars, I guess? Got there at 7:15 am. Line was way too long and not moving. Went to Harris Teeter bought store made donuts. Which were delicious.
Online says open Saturday and Sunday 7-1 but the Corolla location is closed. We’ve watched about 15 other people show up and leave thinking the same thing. We love their donuts and there are a lot of very disappointed people!
Extremely hot and fresh handcrafted donuts. We ordered a dozen and Duck Donuts did not disappoint. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately we had to wait in line for around 45 minutes at opening as this place is very popular. Other than that, highly recommend stopping here if you live in Corolla or are visiting.
Almost ⭐️⭐️⭐️don’t answer phone☎️ called 9 times over an hour, site ordering doesn’t work and wait is about an hour start to finish. If we could have just ordered ahead 5 stars all day. Doughnut taste and creativity 🎯are on point and in person customer service are superb.🎖
Worth the wait! These are great donuts. What a variety!
I was so looking forward to duck donuts. I have heard good things about this donut shop. Unfortunately I drove 20 minutes just to find out that they were closed all day Saturday and Sunday despite the online listing saying they were open.
Donuts served hot and made to order... Design your own donuts too. These are delicious cake style donuts with generous toppings.
Everyone we talked to before going to OBX said "You have to go to Duck Donuts!", so we did.. and so did everyone else in the area. The line to order was about 20-30 minutes and then 20 more minutes to get the donuts. Be prepared to wait I guess. Be prepared to have really good donuts though!!
Ordered 40 dollars of stuff online for pick up through the app. Went to pick them up in thr morning and found out they were closed on Sunday. The app said nothing about it being closed. It didn't even schedule my order for Monday. It was 2 days after! I was on vacation so I had to leave. I called so many times and never got a hold of anyone to help. They sure kept my 49 bucks though....
