My husband and I started coming to Crema before the pandemic and it was one of the few places we continued to come. Everyone is friendly and now recognize us as regulars. I get the chai latte, which tastes just as good iced as it does hot. My husband prefers the iced latte flavored with Nutty Irishman. Every Saturday I look forward to coming to my favorite coffee shop!
Good vibes coffee shop / roastery. They have a wide selection of beans if you are looking to purchase. They also had three different drip options, most places have one or two max (thought it was self-serve which I thought was a bit odd). I had their Crema Austrain blend (assuming it's their house blend). It was very smooth and had choclately notes. There was no nuttyness or sweetness. I did not find it to be a dark roast as labeled, rather medium. It also did not leave a dry aftertaste. Pleasant experience, would definitely return to this shop.
The place is usually crowded inside, but I believe it is because they basically have good coffee, delicious bakery/pastry and friendly staff. They also sell bubble tea that is more like a milkshake type with bubble pearls. It is a little too sweet for me but it’s very creamy and delicious. Nice atmosphere and decor.
By far favorite coffee spot! The coffee tastes AMAZING and their homemade croissants are delicious!! You WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!
Really nice coffee, along with great number of yummy yummy flavors to choose from😋
Best coffee in the town. The coffee is fresh and good. They have variety of croissants. The almond croissant is the best. Nice place to hang out and have fresh coffee.
I had a lovely coffee and the staff was friendly
Crema has such high quality coffee and incredible pastries and baked goods! It’s quickly become my go-to coffee shop in the area.
Two croissants we tried were doughy and raw. The latte lacked flavor. Not for a true coffee connoisseur.
Their bubble tea is amazing. I highly recommend the taro and the coconut. Their pastries are also very good, but I always just focus on the drinks. One of the best drink spots in the area.
Used to love this place but got a latte this morning that tasted stale. The almond and ham and cheese crossaint also lacked flavor. Disappointed as I used to come here often and enjoyed it a lot.
I love this coffee shop. It is mine and my husband’s go to for a mid day coffee date. The coffee is so good with a large variety of options!
Lively atmosphere! There was a long line in the Friday morning but it went quickly. Good quality coffee beans and tasty milk-shake style bubble teas.
The coffee is excellent. my favorite pastry is pain au chocolat. they are tasty. You can choose your kind of coffee. I recommend
Tried it for the first time and coffee was delicious. The bakery items are great too!
I’ve visited Crema all throughout my high school and college years. Even now, when I’ve live in a different state for the past few years, I still pay them a daily visit when I’m in town, and they STILL remember me. Genuinely kind people own this shop, which definitely shows up in the final product. Over the years, I’ve tried coffee from different parts of NC, the US, and the globe— this is still the coffee shop I come back to when I’m in Cary, and constantly crave when I’m not. Wonderful coffee (especially), atmosphere, and staff.
This is one of the premier coffee shops in the area. The espresso con panna was a perfect balance of ristretto sweetness and roasted flavors. The caffeine content is spot on (I felt a pick me up, but did not get jittery like some coffee shops cause.) It is not common to find a shop that roasts their own beans and that is a big draw here. You are truly getting a unique coffee and unlike some self-roasters, the art is well understood by the Crema team resulting in a coffee that is roasted but not burnt as some other self-roasting establishments tend to do. I am happy to see a crowd here as they definitely deserve a strong following and the space would be very amenable to a meet up or as a workspace. I have not tried the baked goods, but can attest to the wonderful presentation and appeal. I asked for the Espresso to be pulled longer as a Lungo and the staff was very knowledgeable and did exactly that. I try to offer balanced reviews, but I don't have a criticism. I will add that I would love to see the site offer a "coffee roasting experience (with tasting)" every so often. This would provide a unique date experience that isn't currently available in the area and may introduce new people to the shop and the unique nature of the shop. This was my first visit, but I definitely plan to return on a regular basis.
Great local coffee roaster where you can buy coffee by the pound.
got a raspberry latte! SO good and affordable!! i've also tried their irish creme latte and its delicious. the pastries are animal shaped and so cute
Best hot chai tea latte I have ever had. The pastries surpassed my expectations as well.
