So happy I walked into Golden’s on a recent work trip. Jeff was a great host and knew his stuff. I got a “simple” egg, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich. The egg was perfect. The bacon perfect and the “Golden Muffin” was the kicker. He bakes them fresh every morning. They are a cross between English muffin and a biscuit. So delicious. And he’s just a great host in a small comfy diner in a cool flatiron corner of the town. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Utica.

I have never had a bad meal here! The food is amazing the atmosphere is even better. It’s the closest thing to Cheers that you will experience in Utica. Definitely the best french fries in Utica and vegan Fridays are the highlight of my week!

Fantastic burgers—I had the “Utica Burger,”and my girlfriend had the “G-Mac.” Great tasting and cooked right in front of us by the owner, Jeff. We had a great time!
Stoped in with my kids a couple weeks ago and had a great breakfast. Rated #1 by my kid for chocolate chip pancakes.
I’m a performer currently on tour, so I’ve spent the last 5 months eating out a lot going from city to city. This was one of the first home-cooked meals I felt like I’ve had since we got on the road— everything is made from scratch. Not to mention, Jeff is incredibly kind! It’s been one of my favorite food stops to date.
