Great place to get breakfast and the coffee is good
Great tasting coffee and food! Just so slow every time. No line this morning but still took over 10 mins to get my latte. Keep the quality, just speed it up a little!

Ordered a cup of coffee to go online. Said it would be ready in 20-30 minutes. Showed up to the resturant 20 minutes later. Proceeded to wait another 40 minutes for 1 cup of coffee. After 40 minutes of no service I inquired about my order. Nobody knew what happened. Some scumbag likely stole it even though it had my name on it. The clients here are scumbags and the employees are unhelpful if you order online.
The food: good, but nothing spectacular in my opinion. The service: great, very nice staff and service. Atmosphere: not my cup of tea but coffee shop goers would enjoy it. Coffee: the best! I'd recommend this shop.
I met a friend for coffee here for the first time. Everyone was so nice! Love the aesthetic! I would recommend this place to anyone. I think this might be my new Saturday morning spot!

Specifically the Tipp Hill location. We just moved to the westend and have designated this as our coffee spot. Today, there was a woman in front of us who didn't really love her coffee. Sean went above and beyond and asked how he could make it better, change it up, add something or making her something different to make sure she was happy. But she was a miserable human and left .. (bad on her part) I have always, always had nothing but amazing coffee, food and atmosphere every time I go. The consistency is my favorite part. Lastly and most importantly, let's talk about how the staff is nothing but exceptional. Always telling us what's fresh or new, their likes and current favorites. It's great to know that our neighborhood coffee shop is so welcoming and oh so delicious. Thanks Recess and Sean for making our coffee and day so much better.
Very strong and delicious coffee!
First stop ever at Recess coffee and my wife and I got a holiday special. It was a peppermint bark latte and peppermint bark hot chocolate. They were both fantastic!! The service was kind, thoughtful and conscientious. The inside is nicely laid out and has that coffee shop energy. They have a nice outside area which I am sure is wonderful in the warmer weather. I will not hesitate to stop at a Recess coffee in the future and would love to also go in hungry and see their culinary skills at work. Enjoy!!
Great friendly n comfy place...not impressed w/ chick pea/ potato(?) Soup...maybe just more seasoning(?).. ..great coffee n desserts!
Great food, great baked goods (the pumpkin whoopie pie with molasses cream is A+) great coffee, and a fantastic atmosphere.

Can't say much. Exhaust hood was broken, so no food was being made. Coffee is alright. Lack of actual coffee though in the cappuccino I ordered. Just tastes like milk and sugar.
