We absolutely loved our cakes! I had the classic cheese cake and it was so delicious!
Bubble tea was good my daughter got peach but the service was meh
Such a cute place, and such good drinks and food
Staff was very friendly, desserts look great, and cupcakes are moist. Tried the “Cotton Candy” cupcake and it was really good. The icing was tasty, and the cupcake itself wasn’t just a plain vanilla cake. It actually has a cotton candy flavour in it. Prices are a bit high which doesn’t encourage you to purchase too many items, but all the stores in Salt City Market seem to have this issue.

First impressions are everything, as this was our first time patronizing your establishment. I was excited to see the beautiful desserts on display as well as the different drink options on the menu. Unfortunately, the woman who took our order (blonde hair with a tattoo on her neck) was incredibly rude and cold to us from the very beginning to the end. She made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her the entire time. Slamming things around as she was making our drinks, she then gave them to us without so much as a "thank you", "have a nice day", or even a "goodbye". Not one word. Perhaps she was having a bad day, which in this case, I understand and would be willing to give you guys a second chance. However, if this is her normal demeanor, she is just hurting your business's image. I spent nearly $16 on two bubble teas, which were not good at all. Bland, watered down, and just overall disappointing. I'd love for the opportunity to turn this one-star review into a five-star review someday. Until then, I digress.
The cake flavors here are interesting. But, the slice I had was just okay. Honestly, I wouldn't come back here for the cake. However, the bubble tea I had was, by far, the best I've ever had in my life! If you're looking for gourmet bubble tea and not some basic syrupy, artificial stuff, this is the place to go!

On Monday Afternoon, January 9th, l purchased 6 cupcakes to share with my coworkers for my birthday and two slices of cake to share with my sister. . When I got home the cupcakes were crammed into the box with nothing to separate them or to keep them from falling over. When I went to separate the cupcakes, they began to crumble and the two slices of cake looked even worse. The box for the cakes was too small and and when I lifted the lid of the box the majority of the frosting was now on the lid. Now I have to go to another bakery to purchase more cupcakes to replace the ruined ones. I hate leaving bad reviews and the previous times that I visited Cake Bar everything was amazing. I’m embarrassed to take these to my coworkers. Please do better the next time.

Very cute place and great service
The staff is all generally friendly, and responsive to any questions you may have about their items. I personally enjoy the Taro Boba, and would highly recommend anyone who sees this to go ahead and try it.
even in the busiest moments the workers at the salt city market keep their cool and have the biggest smiles. definitely one of the best customer service i have received, not to mention the cakes are beautiful and delicious!!
The owner is rude and not a good person. The food is overpriced and not that great. I will tell anyone who will listen to never go to this place
Best peanut butter cookie I ever had. I ordered the big Reese's cookie thinking it was just going to be like every other. It had such a perfect blend of texture, soft and yet textural at the same time. I am not from the area. I want to go back to take one home with me. The steamed tea was good too.
This may be the best damn place in Syracuse. Really high quality desserts at a fair price, amazing drinks, interior decor in Asian-American fashion and second to none. Really grateful for this establishment here in Syracuse. Also, the Vietnamese ice coffee will rock your world
My husband seen a strawberry crumb cake online, and stated it would be something he liked. His birthday came, I showed a person at the Cake Bar a photo, and she duplicated the cake beautifully! It was delicious, beautiful, and my husband was so impressed! Great service and amazing attention to detail.
Light yet very filling cake and lavender milk tea!
It was a small cute bubble tea place. We ordered 2 boba and it was delicious! I want to try cakes too. They looked so delicious and pretty too! Hopefully can try next time.😊
Cake Bar is a uniquely adorable cake shop that also sells specialty drinks. I ordered myself a passion fruit black tea with tapioca and it was amazing! The creme brule coffee was also fantastic! I tried the lavender tea as a cold brew and I was pleasantly suprised at how delicious it was!! The service provided by the workers was spectacular; they went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with my order. I definitely recommend this cute shop for anyone who is looking to satisfy their sweet tooth and fulfill their craving for bubble tea.
