Nice sweets shop they have some gluten free and vegan options lots of good sweets if you are looking for a pick-me-up in Rhinebeck!
Very cute with all the throwback candies from my childhood. They also have delicious baked goods!
Obviously I came to this place cuz I was passing through and I've heard through word of mouth. I didn't realize it would be so small, but it's in Rhinebeck so I get it, it's also what makes it pricey. I know it also has the financial backing of Paul Rudd, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton. My kid loved it, interestingly enough. He just saw Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory for the first time. So he had a ball! Also the mango smoothie was fantastic!
Grandson loved it his dad was so glad we grabbed a parking space
Price but a cute little shop. Has a lot of variety and some odd items. Definitely need to stop here while in Rhinebeck
They have every kind of candy! Everyone is helpful and friendly. An excellent spot for holiday shopping.
Great experience. Excellent selection and well stocked. Staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. Kids loved it and very family friendly. Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!
Samuel’s sweet shop was such a fun stop. Of course when we found out it’s co-owned by Paul Rudd, Hilarie Burton Morgan, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan it was a must stop for us while in the area! It’s a cute tiny store and the girl at the register was pretty friendly. They had a large variety of chocolates and candies. We picked a few nostalgic candies and a few things we’ve never tried before. The fruit stripes were just a good and short lasting as I remembered :p. We also tried the milk chocolate pb cups, chocolate covered Oreos, and coconut cluster type candy. Everything was so good! It’s definitely overpriced but it was a fun one time experience. Oh, and the coffee was delicious!
The variety of sweet treats, the coffee and just the friendly staff. It's like a mini Wonka factory of fun and sweets!
Very good coffee, cute little shop and its open on sundays and after 12pm.
I loved the blueberry scones , just delightful.
Best staff great choices ... Took 2 kids there they were in heaven and they made me a special spicy Mexican hot chocolate and made me feel pretty darn special
Super cute spot! Great candy! My girlfriend is in love with their rainbow ropes.
I adore the candy shop vibe here at Samuel’s and the baked goods and chocolates are delectable! They have coffee and hot/cold drinks on the menu as well. Honorable mention to that perfeeccccttt coffee cake that I think of most days. Lovely, friendly counter service- where they are always willing to recommend or answer questions. I always stop in when I’m around Rhinebeck and I’m never disappointed!
Samuels is very charming and a unique experience! There is coffee and candy and sweets to choose from. I love the toffee and almond bark. Thank u Paul Rudd
Charm galore as expected ~ Thanks Guys ~ Loved it 🥰
Cute candy place with a ton of options!
I stopped here on my way up from Queens New York before going to see my mom in Cohoes and OMG. My husband and I bought both a cupcake and they are to kneel for. Yes I said kneel because my husband literally took a knee in the parking lot after finishing his all chocolate cupcake. The peanut butter cupcake is amazing. I came in here a fan of Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burtons and walked a new fan of the cupcakes. This place is a must stop if you're in/near the area. The employees are beyond sweet as can be. If I lived closer I'd be in everyday buying a cupcake and a coffee. Thank you for the amazing hospitality I don't get in the city.
Very cool sweets from this store, I ordered the Jeffrey Dean Morgan special, the selection looked great (and he's such a cool guy I had to try it😀). All the stuff is high quality and tasty, most especially the chocolate bark and the monster sized rice crispy treat (which I couldn't open my mouth wide enough to take a full bite of it). A funny thing and a suggestion: the rice crispy treat had Jeffreys grinning face on one side of the wrapper, and that happened to be the side with the marshmallow layer - and the only way I could remove it was by peeling his face off with a fork a little bit at a time, which is exactly what I wanted to do to Negan on The Walking Dead - so if you're out of state like me and place an order, pay to have it shipped on ice, which was strongly recommended but I opted not to pay for that. Anyway, it's a great shop and I highly recommend it. Oh, and I forgot to mention the shipping was quite prompt.
Great place. Coffe, pastries, nostalgic candies
