I ate here a long time ago, and it was great. I feel like maybe it has new ownership, but I'm not sure. Definitely would not go back. The food was very bland, and my grandbabies pancakes like rubber.
Excellent food, and exceptional service. I ate there again 11-21-2022 and was delighted. I was in a hurry and going to swing by McDonald's for a couple of breakfast sandwiches. I waited in line 5 minutes, and the line never moved, so I went to River Rock and had an excellent breakfast served 10 minutes after sitting down. The food and service were excellent. I paid no more than I would have at McDonalds. From now on, I won't even stop by McDonald's if the River Rock Cafe is open! Went for lunch 5-1-2023 and had a great lunch. Consistent quality and service are qualities I look for in any dining establishment.
Not as good today. Friendly but slowish service. Hot food served cold.
Good food, fast service, and a beautiful view of the river. Great spot!
Will never go back. Nasty, old, wilted salad, not much to it, picked out mushy, yellowing, old spinach leaves. Sandwich came out wrong, but they quickly remade. Out of soup and that was the whole reason I picked this place.

We were going to head to Blue Dolphin and I said to my wife let's go try this new restaurant River Rock Diner. I'm glad we went. Food was awesome prices were much better than Blue Dolphin. We're going to start coming here all the time.
def wouldn’t recommend eating here, how are you going to advertise portobello burger but then it’s literally just a mushroom on a piece of bread? Basically false advertisement, it should be a vegan option. Wont be going back here, sorry.
Good breakfast at a good price. Always have appealing specials on the board. Parking lot is a little challenging.
My husband ordered his favor, eggs, Sausages, home fries and he love it. It's a good place to eat, I love the cleaningness, and the service excellent also nice view even in the wintertime I will comeback and try other dishes. I will recommend to everyone.
My husband and I were roadtripping to Canada. We stopped here for breakfast on our and it was amazing. The service was incredible. Our waitress was so sweet, and very fast! The food was also quick and delicious. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
This quaint diner in Owego is a great place to visit ... I had the portabella "burger" and sweet potato fries and they were delicious ... The service was excellent and the server even set us up on the patio as we requested as it was a beautiful day ...

Great food, nice view of the river. I always find the service slow. I stopped coming here for awhile at no fault of theirs, but when I recently came back, I found service is still slow. Summer time it is nice to sit outside here.
Omg! I went in and ordered takeout for my daughter, granddaughter and self. The chicken gyros were amazing!!! The fries were cooked perfectly and waitress who took my order very friendly. Definitely was a pleasure. They do get quite busy so plan ahead. If you order takeout call ahead because lunchtime is quite busy.
You can't even get in to eat, small, and not friendly staff.
Reasonable prices, great food, and Tara is one of the best.
A rustic riverside diner along the bank of the Susquehanna River. Good food, decent prices, great service and the view of the riverside in Autumn- you can't ask for better.
