Best breakfast- eggs Benedict, and many other tasty breakfast and lunch offerings. Cozy friendly atmosphere, great service, coffee is outstanding. So give it a try when visiting beautiful Chautauqua county.

Had a great time with friends. Wonderful old country store charm, good service, great blueberry pancakes and a full cup of coffee. Would go there again.

Such a cute place. Fits Chautauqua perfectly. I brought my friends the next time I was in town. Very local, ancient building, waitress was so nice.

They can’t figure out how to brew some of the best-roasted coffee around I guess. It’s basically water. Servers try their best, but service can be pretty dag slow. Omelet overcooked. Used to be nice place, not so sure anymore.

The food was great. But for some reason we got caught between the cracks. The waitress came to the table and got our drink orders. And then she disappeared and I had to ask the young man that was bussing the tables he could get a waitress for us. We waited way too long waiting for the waitress. But again the food was great. I'll go again. Always willing to give a second chance for good food.

One of my favorite places to go for breakfast and coffee. Unique ambiance... the history!

Has been a great spot to take guests with very good food. Last visit felt very unwelcome. Don't feel comfortable using it for treating guests to something special.

Recently relocated to Chautauqua Lake. My husband and I passed by this little cafe in the "middle of nowhere" several times and by chance asked some friends about it. Now the outside of the building might give a person pause but we were told that it was really good and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Breakfast was amazing! I had perfectly poached eggs, a delicious buttermilk pancake and an amazingly fresh fruit cup. The presentation was delightful. The coffee excellent. My husband had an omelet with different meats including his favorite bacon... not a crumb left on the plate. Stedman Cafe will be a new "go to" restaurant for us!
