Great bagels and sandwiches
A Confusing Coffee Experience I recently visited a coffee place that left me feeling quite frustrated due to its misleading entrance and confusing ordering procedure. Although the coffee itself was satisfactory, the initial experience left a lot to be desired. Upon arrival, I was taken aback by the poorly marked entrance. The signage was not clear, and I found myself walking past the coffee shop multiple times before realizing where the entrance was located. This lack of clear direction was an immediate turnoff and set the tone for the rest of my visit. Once inside, I expected a straightforward ordering process. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Instead of a visible and obvious counter, the ordering area was hidden behind a side door. As a result, many customers, including myself, 3 customers that I noticed within 15 minutes ,were left confused and unsure where to go. This confusion caused delays and led to unnecessary waiting times, which can be frustrating, especially for those seeking a quick morning coffee fix. While trying to navigate the confusing setup, I approached one of the staff members to express my confusion. Instead of offering assistance or understanding, the employee responded with a dismissive attitude. Her comment, "We've been here for 3 years, everybody's fine with it-here is your coffee-thank you and goodbye" was unprofessional and showed a complete disregard for my concerns. It was clear that the employee had no interest in addressing the issue or improving the customer experience.
They really sent me out with a biscuit that looked like they forgot it in the oven :,c
Worst chicken n biscuit - inedible. So overcooked and dry both the biscuit and the fried chicken. Threw the sandwich away. So disappointed.
Really good food on the lunch menu and cool decor. Outdoor seating on the sidewalk too.
The big Italian is in my top 5 best sandwiches in recent memory. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is delicious.
I ordered the curried chicken salad. It was startingly runny! Whole chunks of chicken and fillings dripped out of the sandwich. As soon as I opened the wrapper, there was runny liquid everywhere. I was starving after fishing all morning so I ate it, but I wish I hadn't. The pure liquid curry leaked all over my hands and clothes and even dyed my manicure. I love supporting small businesses and wish the experience was better, but I can't trust a chef that can't make a chicken salad.
My favorite place in the area. Biscuits and bagels are great, and the key lime pie is outstanding!
Very nice place. The space was inviting and thoughtfully setup, the staff was nice and welcoming and the food and coffee was top notch. Definitely stop by if you find yourself in Manor
Food was good but took 45 min for an egg biscuit and a sandwich. They didn’t even remember our drinks so we just got a refund for them.
Biscuits 4 Life! 🤘 I dream about their biscuits with butter and jam. Coffee is great, too!
Food is great high price but Worth it
It’s was beautiful! We were just hanging out in Livingston Manor. Delicious food. You have to go here. Especially try their bagels!
I ordered the roast beef sandwich and they refused to allow me to substitute the chiabatta for an onion bagel, which is pretentious by any standard. Upon first bite I thanked them.
Biscuits are the 💣 If the special brisket is on, get it!
Very good. Biscuits are so famous they won't let you order a bagel. Inside the bar is retro looking. Fun place, good vibes, and great spot for light lunch or breakfast. Not sure what happens at night but they have a bar.
Did a quick lunch- and the food was super delish. There is nothing to complain about. It's a small spot. You walk in the side door, order, and then sit down. Or you could take it to go. But yes- the order was very minimal. Biscuit sandwich wrapped in wax paper and a pile of napkins. I got the biscuit special, so I can't vouch for what it could be in the future, but yeah, the biscuits are awesome. Large, fluffy, buttery and gracefully crusted outer layer. What you want in a biscuit. Order it with confidence. Also got the house chai- also good. Great level of spice and not overly sweet.
Moved upstate from Brooklyn last year. Haven't been able to find my sandwich spot up here until I discovered The Walk In! Everything absolutely amazing! Best bacon, egg, and cheese I've ever had! Literally every sandwich is amazing. The Big Italy and Roast beast are my go-to. I always get a sandwich for later lol I will be back here a million times! Highly recommend!
I’m thoroughly impressed with this place every time I go. The bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit is redonkulous. Food is on point and consistent, the salted chocolate chip cookie unreal and the staff is always very nice.
Incredible!!! Driving back to the city from upstate, stopped for lunch based on the reviews. We would drive UP here for lunch anyday! The Roast Beast was unreal and the au jus- beyond amazing! The Turkey BLT, insane! This is now our stop every time we go upstate, or just have the need for insanely good food.
