Not sure if it's always a ratio of ten women to one man, but it was on my first visit. My companion loved her trout and egg Sammy , coffee and environment very pleasant.

Insanely expensive and owner was rude and unwelcoming. This is Kingston, not Brooklyn. Shop local and go to Monkey Joe's and safe yourself the citiot cringe.

Had a great breakfast here! Such a cute little shop with really delicious pastries and great breakfast choices! Get there early if you want the best pastries because they go quick! Kid friendly, adult friendly, highly recommend!

Coffee and croissant were excellent. Got a side of bacon but it was way too salty and couldn’t eat it so that was disappointing. Very cute place though.

Delicious food 😍 both things we ordered were delicious and healthy, and with a different touch than usual. The coffee was very good, I got a mocha and loved it. I also really like that they give you real mugs and plates if you stay in, being more eco-friendly than many coffee shops, even the straws were paper based as well as having real cutlery. I highly recommend it

If the cold welcome and light roasted flowery coffee of an SF Bay Area café is your thing, this is the café for you. $8 croissant? Hello, Paris? I'll be right over, thanks!

Like some have mentioned, the wait time for food can be excessive without warning. We waited close to an hour for our food- just two dishes. After about 30 minutes of waiting we asked on the status. Staff was clearly annoyed by us asking and then after 40 minutes they reluctantly agreed to refund the food. We still got our dishes - total wait was around an hour. Dishes were fine, but experience left a bad taste in our mouth as we felt the staff was rather unfriendly. Laughably when I checked my card they refunded the two dishes but still kept the 15% tip I added (keep in mind this is really akin to a takeaway/ pickup place). The food is good which is why it still gets four stars but as a note- I really really enjoy their sister place Village Grocery which has a much better selection of sandwiches and have always had friendly good service and I would recommend going there instead.

Excellent cafe. They sell all kinds of local goods as well. The only complaint which is not a complaint is I wish they had larger sizes. Give them a try!!!

Coffee & toast were really good but the wait time was long. Waited 15 minutes for salami toast.

Looks cute & all , they might wanna be like a Brooklyn cafe but unfortunately nowhere near the service. Don’t even know if food is good or not. We ordered breakfast to go at 10:51am, at 11:20 we still have no food. Whoever ordered behind us got their food first. Maybe they prioritized the easier orders. Apparently they r understaff even tho there are 5/6 ppl working but only 1 chef. When we asked about our order, we got attitude instead. It is the holiday weekend and we would feel better if they apologetically explain to us the situation. However I just saw another reviews someone waited 65mins for their food so I guess that’s just a norm. Finally 1 order was done but the other was wrong I already knew they will mess the order up when I double checked to make sure no cheese. They still put cheese. So I just think they didn’t pay attention or put their hearts in it. We r all for supporting local business and was excited to try this place but very very disappointed. Ended up asking for refund with no food. Sorry have to leave a bad review. I hate leaving reviews but have to this time.

Fantastic place off the new bike path in Kidtown. Exactly what we hope for in Beacon and other cities. Re-usable cup program, beautiful ceramic vessels, good food.

It’s delicious but more expensive than nyc prices. I expect to pay less when leaving the city, not more.
