A gem of the Rondout section of Kingston. Wonderfully delicious donuts and baked goods. Super-friendly folks who run the place. Do not miss this treat!
Great service and coffee, but the doughnuts are next level! Made to order by an awesome analog doughnut machine!!
Loved it! So friendly they differently care about the quality of the orders they complete. I feel like the cold brew it my favorite. The rose latte was awesome too.
Amazing café! They make these amazing doughnuts from scratch (cinnamon) was my fav. In addition I was able to try one of their teas from Turkey. This Turkish tea was a great alternative to coffee that day for me in which I wanted to experiment. The customer service was also quite pleasant conversing with the folks working here. Definitely a spot to consider stopping by if you’re in the area of Kingston.
I just had the Grilled Cheese w/ tomato soup & iced mocha for lunch; and wow. it was the best.. like the comment from willy wonka, it was Scrumpdiddlyumptious.. a Must have and Must try on chilly days... if there were more stars, Half Moon and thier staff deserve them.
Possibly the best cinnamon sugar donut I've ever had. And the folks in the shop couldn't be nicer.

I lived in Kingston a few years back and revisited the Rondout area today. I had the pleasure of stopping in Half Moon Rondout Cafe Coffee and Donuts. I'm so glad that I did! Great homemade donuts and coffee! Also, the place is owned and run by such friendly nice people! I enjoyed the outside seating out front and had to go back inside to tell them how delicious the donuts were! I definitely recommend that you stop by and check them out! I will definitely go back when returning to the area next time!
I did as the sign said. Nothing in the display case was looking like what I wanted, so I got a cinnamon bun and told the girl at the front I really came in for a donut. That's when she told me about the hot fresh made donuts. This was EXACTLY what I wanted, and it did not disappoint. Will be stopping here again next time I'm in town.
I meant to save one doughnut for later, I really did! Alas...after finishing one with much relish, I turned to the warm, forgiving sweetness of my fresh-made doughnut for solace in the loss of the former. This is why I will solely eat freshly made doughnuts, and why I will freely eat as many of said fresh doughnuts as I please.

Delicious coffee, fresh donuts made to order, stuffed savory croissants, and super friendly service. This was easily the best little cafe we found while staying in Kingston and I HIGHLY recommend paying them a visit!
Had a plain donut and donut topped with chocolate. Delicious. The staff was super nice and chill. Lived the relaxed laid back environment. Definitely recommend the place.
Just went there for the first time, and you have to order the fresh donuts. They’re so delicious. Owner is so sweet as well

Moved to town a year ago, and this has been my favorite spot by far! Staff are always happy and friendly plus the food and drinks are always fresh and delicious. Every time I visit I leave with a smile!

I loved everything about this shop! The donuts were fantastic, picked up some of the cinnamon donuts for my husband and a cannoli donut for myself and both were tasty. The service was excellent, too! I can't wait to come back.
They make everything from scatch yet can't suit a persons dietary needs lol. This a great place for regular people
