This spot is a highlight for my friends every time they visit Kingston. Great coffee, local beers, and I guess you can also buy books. Oh don’t forget to buy one of their amazing cookies. They were so good.

This place is spacious yet cozy, and I will definitely be back. The brews are all from NY, which I love. If you like Guiness, try the Wild East Standard Deviation. You will not be disappointed. The books are plentiful, and there were so many on nature and the Northeast! Many people ordered food, so I will be back to try. Outdoor seating is on the corner of the oldest intersection in the country! You mist stop in if mosying around Kingston.

Really cool place and great set up and idea. It's a bit pricey. And books tend to be geared far more towards new and progressive. Thats either a plus or a minus.

A brewery in a bookstore, with books and outdoor seating. I was itching for a stout and something sweet. I was able to enjoy both. In addition to beer, they have wine and coffee.

Cozy bookstore in historic stone building, great selection of titles and good coffee and baked goods - chocolate chip cookies are amazing.

Was looking for things to do in Kingston and came across this place which looked so cool so we made it a point to stop in. It is the nicest most chill and inviting bookstore/coffee shop/bar I have never been in. I had thought about getting a beer but the tables outside were full so we just got two coffees and relaxed on a couch. I wish they had more seating outside. The latte was great and the employees were very nice. I wish there was a place like this by us, we absolutely loved it here.

Dog friendly, great brews, awesome books! The vibe here is amazing. They encourage you to read the books while enjoying a coffee or drink. Definitely will be back when we’re in the area

Excellent bar/cafe/bookshop. Great concept and a strong, short tap list. Drank hill farmstead as it's still something of a delicacy where I'm from, but numerous interesting options

I want to live here! My spouse and I always stop when we're going down to Long Island to visit family and on our way back home to Utica, NY. Great atmosphere, books, coffee, beers. You can't go wrong. Dog-friendly.

Extremely cool decor and idea. Rough draft bar and books is a place you can stop by in the morning for some excellent coffee and pastries from other local stores. And also relax and enjoy a plethora of book options. And in the evening, you can have a beer and do the same. Or perhaps bring some friends and just chill, relax, and chit chat. The ambience and furniture makes it a perfect place to hang out and enjoy each others company.

You know the feeling when you go to the Brooklyn penthouse apartment of a rich friend for a party, and you find that all their friends are quirky and artistic and you can't relate to anything they say but you are fascinated watching and listening to them, and he's serving scones for dinner and the list of flavors is somehow longer than the list of ingredients, and all the craft beers are named after pre-Renaissance poets, and the place is filled with vintage books and antique coca-cola signs and Shirley Temple's childhood retainer is under glass on the bathroom wall, and you feel like you shouldn't touch anything, but then your friend comes out and uses a first-edition Brothers Grimm as a coaster for his craft cider or whatever, and your like oh yeah I have absolutely no idea how things work here, this clearly isn't the real world and I love it. You know, that feeling? This establishment reminds me of that.

If I lived nearby, I’d be in at least a few times a week. Very chill, but also a good place to go if you’re alone and wouldn’t mind having a beer and a good conversation with strangers. Fun barkeeps and regulars as well. Loved it. Also they don’t skimp on the book selection. I left with multiple books on each visit. Independent bookstores are a must have for me. Add in good beer and keep them open into the evening? My idea of heaven. Planning to make a trip back just to go here more.
