One of the best breakfast sandwiches you’ll find anywhere. And the pastries are so fresh
Great food and great staff!
Amazing breakfast sandwiches!!
Got a bad vibe when i walked into this place at 850 and heard them rudely telling an older man they don't open until 9 and insisting that he wait outside in February weather when he was nicely asking to wait inside. As a coffee shop, why not open before 9? They always seem to be closed. Seems like one of those establishments that care more about their convenience than serving the commmunity, in my opinion.
As a New York City resident, I don’t eat bagels outside of the city often. But, Kingston Bread bagels beat my expectations! The KB + B egg sandwich on a za’atar bagel, with eggs, cheddar cheese, roasted tomato, and herb mayo, was a unique and delicious twist on your typical breakfast sandwich. I also tried their “crump,” which is like a cardamon croissant balled up into a muffin. That was also a hit! And the tiny pancakes were mouth watering, too.
I’m a local, I live three mins from uptown stockade district. Kingston bread and bar is a cute place to stop and get breakfast and a cup of coffee. I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had there, but my only issues with KBB is the hours and the pick up service. If you want to grab a cup of coffee in the morning before work, you can’t because they don’t open until 9am or 10am. My opinion, a cafe should be opened 7am or 8am the earliest. My second issue is the two times my husband and I pre ordered our breakfast, there’s no actual “pick up” area. When you enter the cafe there’s an arrow pointing where to pick up “Your order/ pre paid orders” but the orders aren’t there for you to grab and go, or no one acknowledges you waiting for your pick up order. You have to stand in line or cut the line to ask for your order that you placed. I feel there should be a better system for pick up orders. I truly do love Kingston Bread + Bar, they’re just a few things I feel needs to be worked on.
Best bakery ever. So freakin good.
Usually offers good bread. But is very wishy washy on their "old bread sales" prices. If it's a day old it should be discounted - period. (I have worked for almost four years in a bakery) This is being aggregated by the fact that I was not notified of this pricing structure when I asked for day old bread (with the specific intend to get a discount for something that is not fresh and won't last me as long). Had I been informed about this, I would have just bought the same bread *fresh* - for the *same price*. I feel that the omission of this fact is even done purposely to mislead customers.
It was super busy when we were there on a late Saturday morning but our service was speedy. I got The Max, an amazing bagel, and some warm mulled cider. Walk around the neighborhood after eating and check out the funky vintage shops and used book stores. Highly recommend.
Amazing bread and superb staff.
A true gem worth going out of your way for. We cross the Hudson River happily to pick up their fantastic breads. They also have great sandwich options that you deserve to enjoy.
Greatest of all, everyone must visit.
Food was delicious. Great for breakfast. Do expect to wait over 15 min for your food order
Excellent baguette 🥖
EXCELLENT SERVICE & FOOD QUALITY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🌟❗🌟 Many thanks to Greg and the wonderful staff❗
Delicious pastries and coffee. Staff are super nice and the place is very warm and inviting. I wish I lived in Kingston so I could come here every day!
35 minutes for a mediocre egg and cheese sandwich
This place is delicious and a new favorite in the Hudson Valley! 😍
Don’t let long lines on the weekend deter you. This is a well oiled machine and the wait is not long! I had breakfast there yesterday and today. Delicious food and the coffee is amazing! The Staff are friendly and efficient. I will now be a regular!!
I just was to say thank your Kingston Bread and Bar for existing. I have been in search for good sourdough breads. A once well known business changed their recipe and the bread is tasteless. I was so sad. I searched out and found another who made a Tuscan sourdough only to find out that they stopped making it. In come KBB. Knocked me out! A sourdough baguette warm, I had to stop picking off pieces while driving or it would never have made it home. The next morning the sourdough loaf that I bought as well delicious plain, toasted, just yummy! The desserts looked amazing that this non-dessert lady may have to break my sugarless life to try. They had a special of kielbasa, sauerkraust, romesco sauce, etc. that the people who were eating it ooed and aaed. My tastebuds are dancing. I am not worried about not finishing a loaf and look forward to it elevating my panzanella salad. Great job everyone who works there. Marian in High Falls
