Love their coffee and great vibe
Absolute perfection in every dimension! Friendly employees and customers alike.
The coffee was ok but not worth the price. I also purchased 2 croissants and they were so old and stale they were inedible; these should never have been available for purchase.
Mocha is a dark roast, heavy cocoa notes. Vanilla chai is sweet and enjoyable. Friendly baristas
the iced vanilla chai latte is like crack…. or what i imagine crack is like. i like mine with oat milk and a shot of espresso.
Coffee is nasty, burnt tasting and the staff is rude when you’re not white. This place is trash
Let me start by saying the aroma when you walk in is heavenly but the best part was just being greeted even though the barista was in the middle of helping someone else. I'm a plain Jane when it comes to coffee, hot/cold and black. Although their chalk board was a little overwhelming I decided to be a rebel this time and go with an iced coffee cake flavored black coffee. I must admit I was blown away at first sip. It was as delicious as dipping coffee cake into a hot coffee or sipping on some coffee with some coffee cake in my mouth. Either way they nailed the flavor and I'll be back to try some other flavors.
Such a good coffee shop. Really good sizes, if you want a large iced latte, you get a LARGE. So authentic and great service. Best in town
Varies as to who your baristas are..... They turn over fairly often so quality changes but if you want to support local.....
The best coffee in Bronxville....period....you don't have to have your little finger at right angles when you walk in like you do at starbucks .
My boyfriend and I come here all the time! Friendly staff and good coffee. A good place to study or hang out
I worked here for about a week. Cleaning and organization are not important here. There was a 15 year old who started when I did and he found mold on the containers where your muffin or scone will come from. He cleaned it up himself. The counter from a baristas POV was hectic: labels were either non-existent or faded to the point where you couldn’t see them. My time here ended abruptly because on my last night, this same 15 year old made a joke about an employee of 3 years and as a black woman, I made the mistake of laughing because later on that work week, I was notified that I was being fired because the guy of 3 years claimed I wasn’t working and wasn’t playing my part. The owner said she would “look at the cameras” and “look at them again” but she did not because it isn’t humanly possible there is anything other than me working more than my white complainant on that camera footage. If you’re of color and considering employment here, don’t.
Great prices and service. Flavored 32 oz iced coffee for less than $5! The iced coffee is a must here. Highly recommend the oatmeal cookie and hazelnut flavors. The flavored coffees aren't sweet, which is a great plus for me. I love trying new flavors but don't care for sweet coffee drinks Always a line but it moved pretty fast. 20 person long line here is like a 5 person line at Starbucks.
The best coffee in Bronxville. The medium coffee is huge.
This is my second visit. Nice vibe , friendly staff. I got a funky monkey, it was good. The coffee are quite large for the price I really enjoy their ice tea selection as well.
Great little coffee shop. Definitely had a college caffeine break vibe. Cool list of creative signature drinks too. Went mid-day on a Friday and the line was huge, but I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it moved. Only downside I could see was lack of indoor seating - if you are looking to spend a few hours with a laptop or book it could be hit or miss during busy hours.
The staff is usually nice. However, I ordered a medium iced coffee in a large cup with room for a little more oat milk. I was charged for a large coffee JUST for a larger cup. There was no extra coffee in there. If you go to Starbucks or another coffee place, you can order a certain size coffee in a different size cup, and only be charged for the size of the coffee. I think that’s a ridiculous practice, and I almost spent seven dollars and a coffee. This is why small businesses cannot stay in business when you rip people off and become super petty over the size of a cup.
I've been a Westchester resident all my life, and Slave to the Grind is the best coffeehouse hands down. Been going for as long as I can remember. The only one I've been to in the county that actually feels like a community spot. Really friendly staff and terrific coffee
I love love this place quite and beautiful specially in the early morning 💕 Good coffee 👍
Love their Vermont maple coffee! All their flavored coffee actually delivers the promised flavor without tasting syrupy or artificial. Always stop by when I'm in town.
