I came in 10 minutes before close and ordered an overpriced chai latte- asked to speak with the owner with hopes of collaborating on a community service opportunity. I shared my name and company and the owner immediately and very rudely turned me away due to wanting to close early before I had the chance to introduce myself or the opportunity. I certainly will not be doing any business with such a rude and unprofessional individual.
Great breakfast sandwich and great coffee. Really enjoyed meeting up with company here.
This place was so cute! I had my dogs in the car or I'd have just sat inside and ate. Food was so good, so filling. I also got a latte which was great too! The menu was huge so there's definitely something for everyone. For my fellow tourist, there's free parking across the street! Way easier parking than Saratoga Springs.
This place is a treasure. The staff is friendly & the veggie & jalapeño cream cheese is delicious. They have a robust breakfast & lunch menu and they’re open Sundays when most other spots are not.
Best family business ever. My kids and I love it here
Great 1st impression. The giggling cluster of employees dispersed right away, to help take our order. Customer services patience was greatly appreciated, along with suggestions on popular items. The cafe had a great vibe and everything was reasonably priced. My one recommendation is to allow customers to unwrap their own plasticware.
This place is amazing. Great drinks & food. The owner, Kim makes you feel like you are a part of her family! 10/10 recommend.
Our treats were perfect but the experience is what really made our trip in.
10 stars to be honest. The coffee cake crumb cake (apple and raspberry) are so good I have to go home and repent afterwards! I usually get a sausage or bacon, egg and jalapeno cheese on a croissant if I want something to eat like a meal. The coffee cake is like a meal and you can't eat the whole thing at once unless you smoke a little but even then it's pretty hard. The portions are big and the food is great and I suggest you stop on in if you ever pass by one and have a few minutes to indulge!
We went here for lunch on a Monday and the place was packed. I had a mocha and my daughter had a chi latte, both were excellent. I also had an oversized raspberry crumb cake, delicious!
Great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Called my order in and it was ready on time. Friendly staff was great. Be back soon...
Delicious hot and cold coffee and pastries. Next time I will try their breakfast sandwiches.
Stopped for a bagel this morning and I’m so glad I did! The bagel was delicious, the staff was all friendly, and the prices are fair. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Next time I’ll definitely try the coffee.
I frequent Coffee Planet almost daily. Kim and her staff are an absolute delight! They're always willing to accommodate whatever beverages I come up with and do it with a smile. Full disclosure, they are my neighbors and I couldn't ask for better ones. Thanks for being ready with my daily caffeine needs and a snack to go with😊
The best spot to get coffee and a bagel in Ballston Spa.
Amazing staff, amazing coffee and bagels!
Never really been a fan, most of it seems rushed, was confronted in the past by an employee/part timer who's 20-21 now over my public views
It used to be good. The espresso isn’t half bad. Plus, they have lots of dairy substitutes for lattes. Food is okay, a lot of it feels a touch dry in your mouth, like it was made two days ago. But good luck getting in! The hours fluctuate so frequently. When I asked what I assume was the owners, why their hours were so messy, they responded with the typical yet predictable, “Nobody wants to work anymore.” I have coffee shop experience so I asked what the starting rate was, and they told me minimum wage. Well, there’s your answer! Nobody can afford to live off minimum wage in a town where the average rent is $1,500/m and the county’s $2,000/m. After tips you might make the same as a fast food employee starting, but, the local fast food is hiring near $17/h. I guess you reap what you sow? Give minimum get minimum. Edit for the reply: If a business cannot afford to pay people a living wage, than it should not exist.
Kinda rude. The guy who served the coffee was super nice. But the woman not so much. When I got my change back, there were no single dollar bills. I didn’t want to disturb him or the woman who was busy chatting with a friend. So I pulled out five dollar bill and put it on the counter, and began making change for myself out of the tip jar. Immediately the woman notices me and says sharply, “may I help you?” As if a person who is willing to pay five dollars for coffee was actually going to steal from the tip jar right in front of her. If she had taken a second to assess the situation, she would’ve immediately seen the five dollar bill on the counter. Here I am going out of my way not to disturb anyone and leave a tip, and she didn’t notice me until she assumed I was a thief. She also didn’t apologize when she saw her mistake. Top that off, the latte tastes bad. Won’t be going back.
Great coffee and food! A little slow but everything is obviously made to order so it’s going to be that way. I always get a coconut latte and a breakfast wrap and they are delicious!
