Perhaps The Best Welcome Center / Rest Area in New York State! Extremely clean and very beautiful. Ideal location to stop upon entering United States 🇺🇸 or leaving for Canada 🇨🇦. Exceptional children play area; EV charging for vehicles 🚗 and very clean restrooms. Interactive screens and maps provide quality information about Thousands Islands and Watertown, NY.

Beautiful welcome center. Nice displays inside to check out. Small play area for the kids to have fun. Motorcycle shelter to get the bikes out of the rain. Clean bathrooms. Small eatery to get some food and drink.

This is more than a rest area! We sometimes ride our bikes to the Welcome Center (we have a summer cottage nearby). It's a very pleasant environment with local goods for sale. They also have lots of video and other information about things to see and do all over New York State. Plus a large screen with an overview of New York State places to visit. From the visitor center parking area you can also walk to where you can walk over the Thousand Islands Bridge.

This is my go-to rest stop in the area as it's 24hrs. Always feel safe and secure as a solo traveler. Cleanliness is always on point and adds to the beautiful ambience. Great interactive screens to figure out what's good in the area. Tip: take a short drive down the road to Clayton if you have a little time to check out a super cute, SMALL town right on the water with great views.

Great way to learn what ny has to share. I dont like the governor but this was a great idea to have this built here.

They had sent a flyer with notice of gift baskets, but link would not work for me. Then this morning a representative was on news about the baskets. I drove to buy one and have it shipped. The clerk Joey was very nice. But had not been briefed on how to scan or ship the basket. Boss was not in yet and did not answer phone. So I purchased a cup of coffee and waited. With a little growing pains, and numerous apologies, Joe he received word from his boss via phone on how to do it. All whent smooth for the most part. Had some issues with final shipping on the tablet. Gave him all my info so the boss could fix the issues. Bought a $37.00 basket and cost $20 to ship. Overall, quite happy with it all. Joe was very pleasant and courteous, and I am happy that I was able to leave the shipping up to them.

We love this place! The building itself is gorgeous! It is like a mini museum inside! We love the interactive touchscreen displays too. Bathrooms are sparkling clean and very modern. The store is an absolute gem! They sell all NY state made products. A large variety in a small area. Staff is always nice and friendly! This is a highly recommended stop!
