Exceptional chocolates and baked goods. We had the vegan chocolate olive oil cake and it was amazing. Next time I will try a drinking chocolate. The staff is also very kind and the selection is well-curated. Definitely stop here for a treat when visiting the plaza.

This place is absolutely amazing! The chocolate is second to none, and the mousse by the cup!?!?! I've never even seen that before and I already want to go back for seconds

This has always been one of my favorite spots since I’ve moved to Taos but recently we had the best encounter. We had our young basset with us and were greeted with smiling faces and kindness all around. I decided to try the vegan olive oil cake per recommendation of the staff (potentially the owner, not sure) 2 kinds of mousse and a chocolate bar. Everything was outstanding. We liked the chocolate bar so much we went back for a second one a few days later. Upon arrival the staff recognized us, and even remembered our dogs name and asked how he, and the other bassets were doing. The service here is really above and beyond. What drew me to Chokola was the sustainability and ethics behind the business. The amazing treats and fantastic staff keep us coming back. It’s a great place to bring friends who visit. If it’s cold out I highly recommend the sipping chocolate. My husband prefers the mousse no matter the season.

Chokolá has a variety of options for chocolate fanatics out there. We had a sample of the Madagascar mousse, which was decadent, fluffy, and sweet. However, the two pastries we got m, the vegan olive oil cake and vegan chocolate coconut muffin were subpar. The olive oil cake was tolerable, but the muffin, in our opinion, was not tasty at all. So, if you’re shopping here, chocolates and mousse options would be a solid bet, but in our experience we would stay away from the vegan baked goods.

Amazing, you can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. Fun to mix the mousse ( you can have a split cup with half and half ), would definitely recommend. Most of the food have cream or butter though so isn’t amazing for the dairy free. Chokola is in a very cute town with shops and fun places to explore with lots of galleries and museums

Stopped in on our way through Toas. Appreciated that the oat milk base is gluten free 👌🏻 Shared the Aztec, Lavendar, and New Mexico Spicy drinking chocolates — favorites were the Aztec and New Mexico Spicy. Also had the Dulce de Leche mousse which was phenomenal.

A tiny but popular chocolate WonkaLand. Award-winning chocolate and more ways to enjoy it than your credit limit will allow.

We tried their sipping chocolate, so delightful and we purchase chocolate for a later on snack. They make their own chocolate and it’s a beautifully family own place. Truly enjoyed it.

This place is unbelievable!! We had a chocolate whiskey torte and the dulce de leche mousse (twice in one day). If you’re in Taos, go spend all your lunch money here 🤤

Amazing! Planning to go back tomorrow! As someone who cannot eat dairy, it was so refreshing to enjoy multiple sweets that they had to offer!

Wonderful drinking chocolate (a more dense, rich version of hot chocolate). I also tried the chocolate mousse which was great. Besides chocolate they also had several flourless cakes that I didn't try yet.
