IHOP

My waitress was great. They are under staff so its a lo g wait period.

This was the worst experience ever. Waitresses need more training, the hostess needs to stay off the phone and pay attention to customers waiting to be seated! Dirty blue jeans shirts are not in good repair so the staff professionalism does not exist

Our extended family of 16 were on the road for Mothers Day. We had spent the day driving and found ourselves in Carlsbad, NM. It was a little before 9 pm and we had skipped dinner to go watch the bat flight at dusk. But then we were hungry. We stopped at the IHOP in Carlsbad. The hostess that greeted us said they were closing, but the manager came out and said she and the cook would stay and take care of us. There were two other sweet servers that stayed as well. I wish we had taken a pic with these sweet folks because they took such good care of us- all 16 of us! we had a wonderful, delicious Mothers Day dinner (and day) because they were committed to consumer service and taking care of people (as well as business). Thank you so much. I hope you had a blessed day- you blessed each of us!! Happy Mother’s Day!” Thank you to the manager, the cook and the two other servers that helped take care of our group. Place is a joke. Let me sit out side for 25 minutes before calling me to let me know they don’t do curbside you have to come inside. When I went inside host ignored me and the food still wasn’t ready. Staff was rude. Food was ok at best. Terrible experience.

Everything, food and service were just fair

Order was wrong service was not good asked for strawberry banana pancakes when they brought them out they was plain waitress takes them back they have strawberry on top still no banana pancakes brings it back out again she placed banana on top

Most rude restaurant people ever met. Ignored at the hostess front desk for 10 minutes, then I tried to summon help from employees walking around. Told "there are only two of us" and she walked away....guess that's my problem. We walked away, never to visit ANY IHOP again. Try restaurants elsewhere.

We were here and the server only had 2 tables to serve. We were told it would be a 15 min wait. We were sat down and got drinks ordered,another table arrived 20 min after us and still got their food before us. The server waited until she had NO tables before she even came over.

Tried to go there. Couldn't even seat us. Said only one cook so maybe 15-20 minute wait.

Food was ok, server was nice but seemed a little all over the place. They had her doing other things so I know if was not her fault she was busy.

I've never been to an IHOP that ran out of pancake mix. Service was an issue also. No help

Slow service. Food missing items. Food wasn't bad however.

It is expected to talk with friends than to look at what the client needs, that's why there are no people because of the poor service

I’ve been staying in Carlsbad NM for the past two days. First morning breakfast on Sunday, the restrooms were disgusting and the waitress took forever. She brought my order and forgot the toast. I had to ask a second time for it. Monday morning try it again. Took forever for the waitress to take our order. Same waitress ans Sunday. I ordered toast bacon and fruit bowl. Brought the order, toast bacon and gravy!! I would not recommend this place just for the service alone. Very disappointed.

No one greeted us. After 20 minutes, hostess took our names, said nothing about the wait time, then disappeared, never to return. People who had eaten left. No one was seated. After half an hour, the room filled with hungry people, we all left and went to The Flume. Immediately seated, ordered in five minutes, eating in 15. Never going to ANY IHOP ever again!

Service was great, seated immediately, great server, food came out quick and was hot. Seemed like I saw a lot of bad reviews on here but our experience was great.

Slowest and rudest service in Carlsbad. I have been here twice now, and the same experience both times. Host and servers extremely rude and very slow. Food is decent.

Don’t waste your time! Stood to be seated for over 5 minutes, no one acknowledged us and a lady took two phone orders while we stood there. Not many customers, now I know why. We left and went to Denny’s, much better with extremely friendly employees, great service, and food.

The worst cook ever dude looks like he has not showered in a week. I could not eat there knowing he was touching my food. Sweating all over, guess sanitary conditions is not a priority here im out.

Placed a pick up order to be picked up at 7:05 am. When I showed up at 7:05 the cook had apparently just shown up. The guy who created me was completely rude and acted like it was ridiculous that I didn’t know it wouldn’t be ready at the time I had scheduled it to be ready. Then when I asked about how long it would be he acted like that was the most outrageous question that he couldn’t be bothered to answer. The problem was not that the food wasn’t ready but the way I was treated.
