Ate here on Monday. It was delicious. The atmosphere is fun and there is outdoor seating. I will stop here again.

Great spot for breakfast with a huge outdoor seating area. I had the green chile, bacon breakfast sandwich on wheat toast which was perfect and had the best salsa alongside. Super cute and quaint inside and friendly staff. Wonderful coffee as well with various roasts. Highly recommend this breakfast spot!
Food was great, coffee was GREAT, service was great, prices were very reasonable, atmosphere was wonderful, and we got to hang out with a cat. Couldn't ask for a better vacation breakfast experience.

Quaint. Comfortable seating inside and out. Friendly staff. Nice selection of bakery goods. Good coffee but limited selection but free refills. Reasonable prices. Unfortunately, only open until noon.
The pastries were delicious!! I'm taking off one star because the smoothie was very disappointing, just some ice blended with berry juice that separated. But as long as your order something that isn't a smoothie, I'm just this place will be great!

Don't skip out on this restaurant if you are visiting Carlsbad. Good things: - All sandwich options can be made vegetarian. - Cat outside (I think it's the owner). - Fast service. - Cheap. - Good coffee. - Cute, homey atmosphere.
Delicious coffee, amazing biscuits and gravy, and genuine hospitality. Passing through on a motorcycle trip and found this place. You can tell it’s a town favorite, but sitting at the table in the cafe and watching each interaction and knowing their clients really brought a positive vibe to start my day. Thank you Blue House Bakery & Cafe.

Fantastic breakfast sandwich. The bread was light, flaky, and buttery in every bite. The eggs, green chilies, bacon, and cheese had flavor through out. A variety of coffee flavors and each with its own unique flavor. Cute place to come and enough some coffee and delicious pastries!

Ok, Amazing little place with great food, coffee, cool vide, and great staff. We had breakfast while in the area and it was really good. Very unexpectedly good. If you are in the area check this place out! WishI had a place like this to go close to where I lived. I would be a regular. Congratulations to the owner or owners you create something really awesome!

I'm sorry but this was my first time eating here and my husband's second, I am not impressed at all. We ordered 2 breakfast burritos 1 with sausage and potatoes and 1 with bacon. Eggs were not cooked at all they were watery and my burrito lacked the potatoes i ordered and the taste of the food all in all dies not make me want to eat here ever again the coffee no matter how much creamer or sugar you add my husband's 27 sugar and my 20 still didn't even help the taste we paid 18 dollars for the whole order and I'm beyond disappointed with this supposed to be the number 1 spot in Carlsbad and I'd still pick Macdonalds food over this place any day. Very dissatisfied.
