The photos are somewhat misleading - it's a tight but cozy space, filled with bookshelves organized maze-like to pack the most variety into the space. They have kids books as well as adult, and I found graphic novels I haven't been able to find anywhere else! There are plenty of spots to sit and read, but they were all filled when I visited at about 10am on a weekday 🫤 Lovely place for book lovers, support independent bookstores!!

Coffee is as good as Intelligentsia in Chicago before it got bought by a conglomerate (and that’s saying something). Best breakfast sandwich in the downtown area. And working with the staff to order books has been a simple pleasure.

food is delicious but the book selection is very liberal and biased

Lovely bookstore with a great coffee shop. I only drink decaf, which can be hard to find. It was a great latte!

Such a fab addition to Hanover! Great coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries with lots of little nooks to sit and catch up with a friend or get some studying done. Very comprehensive nonfiction section I always find something interesting in!

Nice bookstore adjacent to a cafe. Lots of new and interesting titles. Cute kids section and several little areas to sit, eat, study, read, etc. They also have a small collection of cute puzzles.

I live in town. Great place to grab a coffee and breakfast. Usually busy with lots of students but the vibe is productive. You could definitely sit and work if you find a spot. I like picking up books from there bc it’s a small business and you can also order online and pick them up outside so it’s pretty hassle free. They also have cute gifts for friends. Sometimes there is amazing jazz music on the weekends were you can have some wine and chill. Love this place but wish it wasn’t soo busy all the time. Make sure to wait around for your drink so you hear your name and not get confused. They are also dog friendly 💯

Love this coffee/bookshop, great food and drinks, everything is always fresh and made from local bakeries. Book selection is great, too! Have on everything from poetry, to cooking, to nature books, and fiction.

Nice atmosphere! Pleasant book store and cafe. Unfortunately the latte was only luke warm even after after it was returned and done over. Sandwiches were ok except they were too expensive. The Greek-coise salad was advertised as having a hard boiled egg but there was no egg of any kind and cost 12 dollars.

When the students are out of town it is the best coffee shop to get work done.

An oasis. Hanover would be bleak without it.

I can't say much about the books, but I took a business meeting at their cafe and they had an amazing spiced chai latte! I will definitely be back here soon.

Great place to read a book while having a good draft beer, cider or a wine glass. You can also enjoy a pastry, sandwich or a tea or coffee. Best of all, you can meet someone and have a good conversation over a good beverage!

This is a classic bougie book store filled with a lot of nuanced books and COOL haircuts. Pretty great coffee nonetheless, and decent prices compared to other Hanover businesses. And lots of unique book choices.

Good hybrid spot, the coffee is solid but a lot of different types of books. Also very good seating areas

Cozy college bookstore, down the lane behind the sweets shop on main street. There's good coffee and all the local and curated books you need.

My friends like the coffee on most days. I did not like the hot chocolate. But that’s okay, because I really like the vibe of the place and the book selection.
