This is the best value for your stay Sunday through Thursday. The food in the cafe was good with fast friendly service and affordable prices. There was a bowling alley, casino, bingo, 2 golf courses and more. Beautiful setting, nice pool and large parking lot. It was really q quiet at night and sleeping was a breeze. We'll be back
$8.99 prime rib dinner was basic but tasty and plentiful. Room was also very basic but clean and beds were comfortable.
Okay, I only gave them one star for this trip. They are our overnight stop for 20+ yrs. However, this time, we decided to go to the buffet. We usually have our own food or go out. We were so incredibly disappointed with the buffet. Our waiter didn't want to work or help any tables unless they were a bigger party. The man who was at the "prime rib" cutting station honestly couldn't have been more rude and disrespectful. There was even a super kind man who stepped in to help us and even told the worker how out of line and disrespectful he was being. That said, we will still use this place as our midpoint stopover (just NOT the buffet). The rooms are very basic. We have noticed that they have been upgrading the beds, which is a super great thing. I don't want to take away the whole staff and how helpful and friendly they are for the most part. BUT, I must also say how horrible cigarette smoke filled this place always is. Even makes standing in line to check in/out, you will smell as though you have smoked a carton in your own car with the windows up. Hope this helps
Dreadful experience, forget it! Third-floor room for $38/night + tax had minimum essentials, similar to Motel 6. Under-window A/C Unit made loud rattling noise 24 hrs. when set on low or high, which made sleeping comfortably very difficult. Truck/equipment could be heard crushing boxes behind casino in pre-dawn hours. Towels are of very poor quality. Our 2 bath towels were soiled when we arrived. We called housekeeping, he brought up 2 new towels that had a bad smell from laundering. Two conspicuous signs are posted inside the room which rudely itemize the replacement value of each size of towels, sheets, blankets, pillows. Scrolling TV directory on channel 2 showed many stations & programming that didn’t work. TV screen size was suitable for a kid’s bedroom. Beds were comfortable. Tasty food in Sierra Buffet x 2 occasions, but waitress claimed they were out of iced tea, but then I saw a different waitress bring a tray of 4 iced teas to another table. Maintenance man knocked on the door of the room next to us at 12:20pm & then he came to our room & he said water would be turned off to the whole building “for a short time” for plumbing repairs. He said front desk clerks should have called us & notified us 1/2 hour earlier, but they didn’t. Front desk clerks are hostile & quarrelsome & they lack good customer service tact. Check-in procedure with credit card was contrary to what our reservationist told us on the phone. We left 1 day early with no penalty. > Strongly recommend travelers pay more money & stay at the stylish Eureka Casino Resort across the street from Virgin River Casino Hotel.
I recently had a very personal and stressful incident take place where I left behind my briefcase 💼 which contained a great deal of my personal papers and funds. I was promptly contacted by the Virgin River Hotel staff regarding this matter! I wish to compliment and Thank the entire staff and specifically Sean Cleveland for his professionalism, courtesy and understanding in this matter! Thanks to you ALL, I'll certainly be staying with these wonderful folks again in the future.
Definitely some great machines. Machines are tight and don’t like to pay out much. My family loves this casino.
Emma and the front desk manager working on Sunday 4/23 were apathetic... and the manager was a smart aleck and rude. We are not even checked in yet and it's already a horrible experience. I've stayed here a number of times. The front desk is usually decent enough. I've never written a review of this hotel, but I'll tell you it's cheap, it's basically Motel 6 with a casino. What's good about it? It's cheap. If you can afford to stay at a better place, so so!! Absolutely.
Got chased out of the casino for questioning the dealer showing his hold card and how it impacted everyone. Pit boss was furious and had people follow me to my room claiming I was trespassing . Wow, stay far away
Room is nice but the handicapped toilet is for a small child not an adult. Also can hear very loud guests fighting all night so loud the police came over. Not my favorite hotel but good for a quick stay.
The service was par, nothing special at all but not bad. The tone weren't the cleanest, and are a little small. The pool was awesome and the kids loved it. And being so close to the freeway and everything around, the location was great.
I didn't stay in the hotel. Just went to play Bingo and eat at the restaurant. The bingo is a blast. The beer battered white fish is excellent. They give you 3 strips of fish that are huge. I was only able to eat like 1.5
They bless you with 895 prime rib the whole way from Salt Lake and then you get there and it's like a 45 minute wait. And then you finally get to order and it's the smallest piece of prime rib I've ever seen.
It was a nice little casino to just go have a good time. They definitely have good food and the restaurant that beverages are pretty good .
There are alot of bad reviews so I was skeptical, but.....the room was clean, serviced everyday, water, toilets and shower all worked. Is it a 5 star resort....no. no frills, no coffee maker, iron, any extras, but you are paying a ridiculously low rate so you can't complain. If you are looking for a clean place to stay on the cheap, this is your place. It is a motel, doors open to the outside, my own phobia, but I got over it during the week. The parking lot can get some interesting people, so be mindful, but I did not mind staying here at all.
Last night was quite unfortunate and sketchy. Management should take course of action of a newly employee for reevaluation and have more training if necessary. One female dealer from the casino had a hard seventeen DRAW a card and busted. Marc one of the pit boss manager was over looking the table, came to intervene picked up the card and discarded it to the stack. We all lost that round. This is something that should be looked into and see who is at fault. Shame.
Openly hostile to RV owners... I called to ask where to park my truck + travel trailer. I got three different answers. I followed directions and went to enjoy the buffet. I was paged by security and was treated with disrepect as I was ordered to move my rig again despite following instructions. I tried to be very compliant and apologetic, but was threatened with tickets and having my rig towed. Not a dime will be spent inside the Casio and Hotel. Their mothers should be ashamed of their poor manners. If you drive an RV or tow equipment, avoid this place even if you are tired and desperate. Dignity for paying guests and professional communication between staff members is non-negotiable.
Manager at check-in was the rudest person I've ever dealt with. My reservation was through a 3rd party booking and they switched my first and last name and she wouldn't honor the reservation. She told me there was nothing she could do and wouldn't even let me pay or start a new reservation even though it was already booked. I spent 4 hours trying to get ahold of the 3rd party booking agency and they wouldn't answer. We were with a group and they got in just fine. I had a confirmation number, address, everything was the same except my first and last name were switched. She wouldn't work with me for anything. Her name is Jenny. I wouldn't stay there just because of her. Ruined my entire vacation that I'd planned weeks in advance and paid for. Drove 6 hours to get there and had to drive 6 hours back the same night because everything was booked for Spring Break. When i asked what her name was, she rudely responded "it's Jenny, and you can talk to whoever you want about me." Absolutely disgusted. Customer service is about helping people and kindly solving situations.
Very nice place. Clean ,basic rooms and very pet friendly. Good price. Restaurant had excellent food. We don't gamble but walked through casino and it big and clean. Has a couple pools and hot tubs. Toilet is very low like for kids. Hard on older people with bad knees!
Updated: the cooks at the buffet were awesome and helped my mom who has food allergies and the waitstaff was also great. The blackjack dealers were fantastic and we had a very fun time. Highly recommend this place other than the front desk people. The people that answered the phone were also kind. Original review: The front desk woman who said she was a supervisor on 3/29 at around 2:30 pm was awful. We were waiting for our rooms to be ready - no problem - and she just was terrible like we were at the DMV. Otherwise decent property for the price. I’d stay here again I just wouldn’t want someone with such a bad attitude in charge of anything if I ran this place.
Got a room here for my sister. This hotel has no amenities for the room, but the casino is great. It was hard to find a cocktail waitress, so we just got our drinks from the bar. Good times and i recommend.
