Amazing food, for a great price. Half of the pool is still closed.
We love to casa Blanca we have family and friends here and we just livw the pool We would like to see a few things change like being able to have bottles water out at the pool the kids need lots of water when there our in the heat .....
Ate at the Casa Cafe... Service was good, food excellent and prices reasonable.
Location was great for a golf trip. The pool was nice. The rooms were clean but very outdated and even the non smoking rooms still smelled of smoke.
First couple of visits were fine, but not the best. I have noticed that the rooms have been barely cleaned. One of the things that mainly bugged me was that a beetle crawled up on us while we were sleeping! It was absolutely disgusting. The beds were dirty, and many hidden areas were dirty as well. I’m sure if you stay there, they beds probably won’t have been cleaned. The pool is fine, it’s just that there’s lots of leaves and dirt in it. It is also very cold and looks dirtier than most pools. Other than that, it was quiet and the service & people were nice.
Always a clean and pleasant place to visit. Great food and service
Two reviews in one: First review: I'm going with "kinda groovy." We day tripped our way up there from Vegas. It's not a bad drive, and it's even scenic in some places. Now, on to the casino... It was busy on Mother's Day, and it's nice to see everyone having a good time. I saw a guy win $1k dollars on a slot machine. We ate at their buffet on Saturday during the dinner menu. If you like crab legs, you've hit the jackpot. It's not my cup of tea. Their NY Strip was average at best. I enjoyed the salad bar, and even though it's small, the selection was nice. The staff was attentive, and the decor was 'dated' but okay. For $20, I think you'll come away with a full belly and satisfied. Just bear in mind it's not the Wicked Spoon or even SouthPoint's buffet... give it a try. Oh, and you'll notice a demographic difference, too. Have fun! Second review: One year later.... Goodness gracious! Stay away from the seafood buffet.. I have, as all monsters do, an iron disposition, but I met my match. I ate one crayfish, and I threw it all up an hour later. It was so gross that I spit it out, but that didn't matter. Just do yourself a favor and avoid the buffet on seafood night. Nastier than Nasty Canasta.
The hotel is great. My only bad is every time my wife tries to book at the spa they are always full.
Nice casino still looks good from the outside but needs a little more tlc paint and up keep...stuff looks very weathered. Inside is also clean....of course smells of old cigarettes but its allowed so cant complain. Bathrooms are super clean, the wait staff are out and about serving drinks and very polite and friendly. They have a mix of new machines with cool phone chargers and old machines. Slots, and tables.
My room was disgusting. The hallway smelled like 20 year old hot carpet. Towels in my bathroom smelled like chlorine from the pool, and the bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The casino floors were filthy the entire time I was there. I felt gross after a weekend here, can't wait to shower in my own place. The Cafe is pretty dank, but I'm glad it isn't an open kitchen or I might have a different opinion. I would like to say I'm exaggerating, but the rooms look like a well-used barracks. Service was fine. I don't have any complaints, but I didn't have any specific requests or anything to judge the staff. Not noticing used pool towels is a bit frustrating.
I love gambling with my girl and having a room with her. Well, I love that ever more
The pool closes way too early, and I wish there were a few more shaded areas. Overall, it was nice, but could take it up one notch.
Rooms are average. Typical for a casino. Food is average. Fun small casino. Great pool area. Pool bar is the best.
Very clean and awesome places for food. Enjoyed the atmosphere at the pool.
Above average casino based upon the amazing pool! The casino is just average. The complex is rather large and the parking lots surround the facility. We stayed in the RV park at the South/ rear area. Initially the parking was a issue as we had to use the RV area to the far West end. It was a good walk to the front entrance. Once there, we noticed there was a RV lane just out front. Must have missed that sign coming in? As other casinos, you get a nice welcome from a hit of smoke as you enter the casino. Once inside you see a large dark rock in the center that is a showroom/bar area. A cool little area that has water falling to enhance the vibe. The main check in area is to the right as you enter the front. There seemed to be quite a few people working and the line moved quickly. We checked in and walked the casino to the Player's Club where we signed up as a new user. The person working the club card desk seemed about as excited to see us as a bland cracker. She welcomed us and I questioned what being a member benefits were? She basically said you get $5.00 to play with, a scan at the kiosk to get up to a $10.00 dining credit (or a free hot dog - which is what we received), and then you can come back every day to scan your card for points. Yeah - oh boy! So after we finished our interaction and received our coupon for a hot dog, we headed to check out the place. The first stop was the buffet. It was closed for the evening (Sunday). The next stop was the café. Tonight's special is the $14.99 fried chicken! No thanks...Turns out as we explored the place that It was a little too smoky for the wife, so we decided to head out and check out the pool. Since we parked in the RV lot, the pool was a quick walk across the road and into the rear entrance. The place was huge with a massive waterfall in the middle and lifeguards stationed throughout. There was a water slide on the one side and a large pool that covered half of the area. The waterfall felt so nice as it cascaded d
Just gambled and ate. Plenty of machines and a good variety. Lunch was great.
The casino on the outside is gorgeous! You walk in, and you get that early 90s casino feel. Very old school paint on the wall, the carpet is atrocious, the smoke smell is thick with a hint of old lady perfume, the bathrooms stink of old sewage, and the machines are the tightest in town. The non-smoking rooms still smell of stale cigarettes, and one of our comforters smelled weird and had a stain, thankfully housekeeping came and gave us a brand new one and offered to change the entire linen in the room.
Yes, the rooms are outdated however very clean! Staff, super helpful and friendly. Bell hops and valets are the best!! Free shows at the casino. Caters to seniors as well. Several places to eat. Great steaks at Katherine's. Coffee shop, ice cream and more! We don't gamble, we went for the pool. (HUGE, with a waterfall and water slide). Poolside drinks, warm, clean water. The pool closes much too early...6:00pm. BOO HOO! 😭
Food in Cafe was always excellent but now average at best. Never in the 8 times we've played at slots have we won. This time was the worst it's ever been. Played $200 and not once ever recaptured our bet of $1.00. We'll not return to the tightest slots and non exciting food. Too many places to go and have a good time.
Not what I expected for the advertising I see. I've had better Rooms at a motel 6. Casino was ok but coctails/drinks waitresses are few and far between.
