Normally, this place is good, but today food was overcooked. Potatoes were burnt.
Our hash browns were burnt, sausage and bacon cold, coffee tasted watered down. Servers were friendly. Atmosphere was good. We were in a hurry, so we didn't complain to our server.
We go all the time and normally the food is excellent, but last Friday, my meal was terrible. I ordered the steak and shrimp cooked medium and the steak was so overdone that I took the whole thing home for our dog. In addition, the vegetables were lukewarm to cold. If you have a new cook, he or she needs some training!
The food was exquisite! The chicken fried chicken was juicy, flavorful and the sausage gravy was outstanding! It was definitely homemade, NOT packaged gravy. The steak was tender, flavorful, juicy and delicious! The lobster was sweet, meaty but firm. So good!!!!!
They have a great selection and the service is always friendly! The prime rib, salads, Chinese food and burgers are always awesome! If you have a diverse crowd and can't decide what type of food fits everyone go to the casa Cafe, there's something for everyone. Recommend the combo chow main, pad Thai, mushroom & Swiss burger and prime rib.
We had the Orange Chicken special, I have to say it was the worst meal we both had ever had. The soup was barely warm, if that. The rice was literally cold, we had to send it back. The second plate they brought us was still cold. Now for the chicken, it was awful, tough and tasted old with absolutely no flavor. The egg roll was hot but really mushy inside. We both got up and left without eating. Absolutely terrible. We should of complained but I'm not sure it would of helped since the rice was still cold after we complained.
Awesome diner food. I don't pass through Mesquite without stopping here and getting a deuces wild breakfast plate. Always pleasant and fast service.
YUCKY. Ordered a nacho they brought out a bucket of slopy soup containing cheese grease and a few soggy chips off a bottom gross nightmare.
We ordered 3 tacos - meat was so greasy, there was a puddle of grease in the bottom of the serving basket, lettuce was dry and flabby. Not fit for human consumption. Also ordered chicken wrap - could not finish it - too much sauces on it and not wrapped properly.
The Pad Thai is amazingly good!

So this is not about the food but about the front desk and general manager. I ordered take out and showed up when told. And after about 5 minutes my order, which was labeled incorrectly, was given to someone else. After a long 5 minute discussion and calling the general manager, who never talked to me, I was told my order has to be put back in and the general manager, he just walked away and never talked with me. I watched everything going on but I was not talked to. Then 40 minutes later I left with my food. I was not given a discount for waiting, not we are really sorry, just asked for me to pay. Not a very good experience and one the manager should have taken care of. Now with that said when we finally ate the food, an hour later then planned, the food was great. We were staying at the hotel and hope they figure this out.

On Sunday morning, they were so busy moving tables that a line formed just to be seated!!! 12 parties in line waiting to be seated with numerous empty tables available. Numerous tables available!!!! After waiting for 15 minutes and asking twice to be seated, 3 different parties left!!!! We left and told people as we were leaving not to bother. They obviously don’t care about the customers. To ignore the line forming and not care that many of us were leaving. I will NEVER eat here and most likely won’t be back to the hotel!!! First impressions!!!! Unacceptable!!!!
Again I'm giving one star because I have to!! Can't tell you how the food is because the staff is off spectrum and can't hostess you to a table. Simple terms...they are idiots at this Cafe. In a 10 minute wait 4 people walked out to leave the ever growing line to be seated. We went to the Cafe at eureka casino and are now enjoying breakfast. They knew how seat and serve here. Casablanca resort is a dump filled with hicks from them thar hills!! skip This place.walmart was cleaner!! Blah!!
This place always takes way longer than they should to get you in to a table and likes to pick and choose who they take out of line, whether it's just 2 people or 5, I've been waiting for 30 minutes while 3 other groups behind us have been moved into eat. I know one of them was complaining about writing a bad review, so maybe this will get us in to a table faster.
Sat at table, got drinks all good. Sat for over 15 minutes, Meanwhile most of staff just congregating and chatting, another couple walks in and within 3 minutes waiter took their order. Then turns to us and says "I will be right with you" Walked out, not really impressed with the staff.
Völlig ausreichendes Essen, super nette Bedienung und schneller Service. Perfekt für einen Mitternachtssnack oder wenn man spät anreist. Die Preise sind wirklich gut ! 😌
RIDICULOUSLY LONG wait times . We’ve been through there 3 times in six weeks and this place as at least a 45 minute line and it’s not because their full - they don’t have any staff!!!! And then those vip guest are seated first so you have to wait until all of them are seated!!!!! Don’t wasted your valuable time. Plenty of other good places to eat mesquite.
The food here is excellent. We always request Dino because he’s such a fantastic waiter. He’s super polite, very fast and takes care of us every time. It’s nice to be on a gaming floor that has good food because we end up staying longer and having more fun. Thanks again!
