Sick of Starbucks? Greenwich Village Coffee Co. Is your 5-Star alternative. It's located in the food court at New York, New York at Greenwich & Bleecker. Their illuminated sign says "...BAKERY..." but the smaller painted sign at both ends of the facade is the "Greenwich Village..." logo you see on the cups. Great coffee! Great people! And it's not part of the Starbucks syndicate!!!

Such a gem inside New York Hotel Casino. Go get these donuts. Lots of good pastries. I got the Pumpkin Spice donut. Really good.

The iced cinnamon hug is really good! Try it if you can't make up your mind. Service was excellent too!

On the back side of the coaster arcade stair case there is an amazing little coffee spot that has all kinds of non coffee options as well like chia tea frappe or the English toffee steamer. They also have great coffee options too almond joy or butter rum buzz. Along with kid friendly options like bit chocolate or smithies and many hot options non coffee for the kids. Great muffins donuts or yogurt parfait. My favorite is the blueberry almond croissant. Some say it’s pricey but I say not as much as the Starbucks around the corner and more breakfast quick options.

Worth the wait. Slow because only one worker plus a lot of people place orders. The cinnamon donut croissant was amazing! Ham and cheese, plain croissant and the bacon quiche were all quality items!

From getting in line until we got our 2 coffees and a muffin was 26 minutes. There were only 4 people in front of us. There were several employees as well whom I assume is the manager, leaning against the counters talking and on their phones. The manager at one point just walked away in the middle of making our drinks. This was probably the worst run business I've ever seen. The only saving person was the lady who actually took our order and made our drinks. She was great at stepping in to fix the managers problems. Coffee was good.

This is a good spot to get a bagel or cup of coffee. I have eaten there often in the mornings when I didn't want to stuff myself with a large breakfast. They have a good selection of bagels and pastries and are freshly made.

Good chai latte. Great donuts, specifically the Maple bacon and regular glazed. On Greenwich Street.

Got the Butter Rum Buzz and wasn’t disappointed! My only regret is that I didn’t get a donut to go with it cause they all looked amazing. The barista was really friendly and had my coffee made quick.

The coffee was good the pastries were hard like they been sitting for two or three days. For the price they could be heated-up a little to soften them.

Mediocre at best, I ordered a bagel and had to wait 5 minutes after the bagel was done to check out because the three workers couldn’t figure out how to make a Carmel Frappuccino. Einstein’s has better bagels.

I had the Cinnamon hug and it wasn't that good... the service was friendly and quick though!
