I try to hit up any locally owned shop when I'm out of town. This is my go to when I'm in Elko! It's close to where we stay as well. Which is just a bonus. Super friendly, patient, knowledgeable barista was working. She's actually been working the last 2 years I've come in. I ordered a macho and a London fog (honey instead of vanilla & lavender, the traditional way). A little coffee and a little black tea, and shoot em both!

Nice place although I think their coffee roasting needs vast improvement and tweaking. This place would not last in a place like , but its Elko .

Just wanted coffee to start the day. Ordered Americanos, room for cream, less costly than lattes, that were excellent. Cinnamon roll that wasn't large enough - when you have to share! - as it was so good. Busy, but not too busy, before 9:00am because this is a really good place for coffee.

I was in Elko for work and was fortunate to stumble upon Cowboy Joe. They had a surprisingly large selection of drinks to choose from. The employees are super friendly and the coffee is amazing. I recommend buying a few bags of their Buckaroo Blend if you’re into grinding your own coffee at home. It’s amazing!

I have been a customer of Cowboy Joe's for years, and it is always a pleasant experience to get coffee or some food this small-town treasure.

Super cute place with great service and good wifi for working. But by the afternoon they were out of most food and only had a few select baked goods remaining.

Always the nicest girls always smiling. I was just dropping off supplies and got a free coffee. Always the best drinks on this side of town. Definitely my coffee spot. Carmel cow is the best.

Cute little coffee shop in downtown Elko! The baristas are very nice, and they make great coffee! They offer a great variety of milk alternatives and a nice coffee menu. They have a nice seating area and souvenir section as well.

Cozy place for coffee on a cold afternoon. They roast their own beans, making a smooth cup of coffee. Decor is quaint and comfortable, lots of cowboy items. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for that much needed break in the day.cafe
