The Special Restaurant is fine. Not bad, but not a stand-out breakfast choice for me. Their pancakes are good, but the veggie scramble has been pretty bland. If there were a bit more seasoning or more cohesive flavor, then the large portions and affordable prices would make this spot a go-to
This is currently my favorite diner. I usually go for breakfast food, especially biscuits and gravy. Damn good biscuits and gravy. Pancakes and eggs, and just everything we've had there is great. Serving sizes are very fair for the price. The chairs in most places hurt to sit in. I have a bad back and I'm not a little person. But the furniture is comfortable and really doesn't hurt even if I'm there for a while.
What a great Restaurant. The staff are just as amazing as the food. The Special Restaurant is a must try ( you will not be disappointed) The breakfast skillets are huge .

I love this place. Every time I go, the food is always great, and they have exemplary service. I've had multiple of their skillets. They are always hot and fresh. They are quickly made. They are plentiful in food amount, and, of course, they are delicious. I've also had their Biscuits and gravy, which are great. The inside atmosphere is great, albeit a bit cramped. But the floors and tables are always clean. If you don't know about this gem in Bellevue, make sure to check them out for breakfast or lunch.
Typically I eat breakfast here 4-6 times a week. Always consistent. Great service. Great prices. Large portions. Made fresh and in house. Excellent soups. Highly recommended. Gets packed most every day, especially weekends. Well worth it!
I come here for the homemade food and daily specials and stay for the atmosphere. If you find yourself in the area, stop in and try anything off the menu. You won’t be disappointed.

It reminded me a lot of Leavenworth Cafe. Same vibe and style food. I liked it. Glad friends took me. I didn't see the bill, since they paid. But prices seems good for the food you got. Omelet and pancakes, maybe 11 bucks. I couldn't finish it all. I'll be back for sure. 👍

Was given the wrong sandwich, but it was quickly replaced and I was allowed to take the other sandwich home. Fast service, friendly staff, great food.
