One HELL of a coffee spot. I don't don't drink coffee anymore, but all of the friends who come with me say it's great. Every single drink (which isn't a large amount, but still) I have tried at this place has been delicious. The food is phenomenal.
Barista super friendly, my caramel latte was delicious, and the apple pie oats - amazing! I will definitely be returning.
Baristas are always friendly and knowledgeable in their fields. Great spot to study, collab, or create. 10/10 recommend
First timer! Dined in I had a Mistletoe Matcha Latte with oat milk ( hot) and a cinnamon roll which was so good! and my friend had a stuffed Croissant with chocolate
My grandpa's old Brake Shop looks amazing after Upshot Coffee took over. Great staff and coffee!

Live down the road and have been wanting to try this place. The interior is simple, I like the subtle nod to its former purpose (auto shop?) Seems like it may be a nice space to hangout, like most coffee shops… Only giving them 3 stars for the following reasons: Parking? What parking. The barista was lacking… friendliness? Holy inflation ($8 for a matcha latte with 20% tip) With all that being said, I most likely will be back. I’d rather support local than Starbucks. Just maybe, don’t treat your customers like they’re a burden ;-)

Great staff and many options for vegetarian/ vegan AND gluten free It's extremely hard to find anything worthwhile that's gluten free. The coffee is fresh and made on the spot. Atmosphere was great, very relaxing
Excellent service. Super polite and prompt. Food was great - the burrito tasted great. Arrived nice and hot. Coffee was hot, and tasty - a lot of different options, but I felt just right at home ordering a regular ole black coffee. And it was good too. I’ll gladly recommend to friends.

Good coffee in a refurbished old car repair garage, aka the brake shop. Love the decor staying true to the original building use. Good amount of tables to spread out. Fast and friendly service. Only about 4 blocks north of the Katy Trail on the outskirts of historic Frenchtown. Small parking lot but lots of street parking.
There are many fine coffee shops in Saint Charles. My frequent choice is Upshot. I often go for one of their batch brew coffees. As a treat I order a pour over off of their menu of exceptional coffees. Sitting on their patio enjoying a pour over is one of life’s simple pleasures that brings me much joy. Along with great coffee is the outstanding staff. It’s the staff that turns a good coffee shop into an excellent coffee shop.
I enjoy this place and it has the BEST whole been coffee on this side of the river. HOWEVER the to-go cups are really bad and leak/spill very easily. I have spilled my coffee at least 4 times in a 6 month period. I frequent a lot of coffee places and this only happens here. Would love it if they fixed/changed the cups (both the iced and hot cups). Also this place can get crowded fast and their setup doesn’t have a good working environment vs other places (just my preference, might vary depending on each person).
