.What an unexpected pleasure! We've been on a motorcycle for 15 days, from Richmond Virginia to the Grand Canyon, now heading back east. We are trying to stay off interstates and highways as much as we can and we have run through a gazillion small towns where most restaurants are much of the same, different variations. bread & butter has that hip feel, in an industrial, warehouse like setting. They offer an eclectic, unique spin on regular dishes. A burger with a waffle for a bun, waffle cut sweet potato fries, for example. I had the mushroom swiss burger with sweet potato fries. Left nothing on my plate! My companion had a ham and cheese that had 2 or 3 different cheeses and potato salad. He left nothing behind, either. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and efficient. Dinner arrived quickly. They also have some amazing looking deserts, although we didn't have any. I also really liked the t-shirts! A nice change from the usual
We went in with a group of 12 after the TRCC graduation. They immediately greeted us and pulled tables together for us. Our server was very friendly and checked on us often throughout our dinner. I think we had just about every thing on the menu and everything was absolutely delicious. We all had a wonderful experience. We will stop in again when in Poplar Bluff.
We stopped in here on our way to Nashville from Springfield, MO. We had lunch the service was great, food was fresh and tasty. Even our son’s kids meal was well above average. It’s not too far off of 60 and worth a stop if going through.
Alicia here... We are beyond impressed with Bread & Butter Bakery! They put together the most beautiful and sweet (get it🍪) goodie box for my mother-in-law. She retired from Walmart after 19 years & 9 months this past Friday. They got it together within an hour and EVEN DELIVERED! Us being from Tennessee, needing to send her something special, Bread & Butter was right on it! Affordable price, wonderful customer service, and added little touches to make it perfect! Thank y’all so much!!! Sincerely, The Whites
Our food was absolutely delicious! Service was amazing!
We Drove almost 2 hrs out of our way. WELL WORTH THE TRIP. First service was amazing, everyone was very nice. Decor Rustic Modern, simplistic which I enjoyed. Now to the food. All the breads appear to be made fresh in house. Appetizers Cheese fries are very good, Ranch is better than hidden valley. Bread and butter. Fresh baked rolls wonderful with honey, cinnamon butter. BLAT, Normal BLT with avocado on sourdough toast. Choice of American Swiss or Provolone. My wife had provolone. She said it's was amazing and fresh. Cheese curds. The breading on these things will make your tongue beat your brain out. They are amazing as well. Mushroom and Swiss with Mac and cheese. It's one of the best M&S burgers I've ever had. I have had them from all over the country. Mac and cheese was good as well. Drinks Campfire coffee was delicious but a little cool for my taste. Hot should be really hot. That's the only bad thing I have about this place and that's really not that bad cause the flavor was amazing. Sticky bun iced coffee. Taste better than Cinnabon. Price: It is a little bit higher than what I expected, however the freshness of the food and obviously above average ingredients make it well worth the cost. If your in the Poplar Bluff area and you don't stop. You can't claim the foodie title.
I had pimento cheeseburger omg the best so ooey gooey
Everything here is mediocre. Just, eh. It's edible and everything. But mostly without taste. Definitely way overpriced for what you get. I remember it being good once. Those days are sadly gone. (This comes from multiple experiences from multiple people. They really need to get their act together or they won't last much longer.)
The food was great. I had their lumberjack breakfast. It's a LOT of food on one plate! Worth the price, though. Server was friendly and attentive. The one complaint I have is that the coffee was flavored. I don't like flavored coffees -- especially hazelnut, which this was. I'll come here often, I think.
A great place for lunch the food was fantastic however the fresh bread in "bread-and-butter" rolls were very "yeasty" I don't know another way to describe it but left a strong tangy taste in the mouth. Chicken salad was great and Croissants were perfect. The Blat was fantastic. Service was great.
Great food and drinks! Really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Had the chicken and waffles. Two precooked frozen chicken breasts and a little waffle. Not impressed. Server was on point though.
Service is slow, and the multiple times I've been, they are always out of something. And their menu is deceiving about the prices.
This place has good parking and also bad parking! And it has a private parking lot that joins into a public lot on the backside!
Me and my womans FAVORITE restaurant in the bluff! Nothing bad on their menu its all to die for!
This place was a bit mediocre. Some of the food was good, but the hash browns were cooked in what tasted like very old dirty oil and we weren't able to eat them. Also, we were initially served another table's order. We didn't realize it at first and poked around with our forks to see what was in the food, realized it wasn't ours, and notified our server. About a minute later we saw the exact same plates sent to the other table. They must have also seen what happened because they sent it back, too. Besides the hash browns, everything tasted good.
Good food. The burgers were good. The rolls with cinnamon butter were good. Others have described them as incredible, but they were above average, being just warm.
Excellent service from wait staff. It's definitely worth visiting.
I like this restaurant. But my last visit wasn't like it usually is. The waitress was not attentive and the food wasn't as fresh as I'm used to from here.
My steak was so juicy and tender. I couldn’t ask for better. My server Katherine was the best! She went up and beyond to make my visit awesome. I will definitely be going back.
