I absolutely love taking my kiddos here! I know they're safe and I don't have to stress about them running away or getting hurt! I'd love to come here when it is too hot at the park, but can't afford to too often, though, the price is $20 for two hours and two kiddos which is not bad!!
As a work-from-home-mom, I ADORE My Play Cafe! It’s a clean, safe place with new toys where I can supervise my kids while sitting in the cafe drinking a surprisingly delicious latte (or iced matcha, like today!) Lots of moms and dads here, people are nice and I can always find a place to plug my laptop in to get some work done. 10/10, would recommend.
My nanny kids really enjoyed the play area. We could have stayed all day. The worker was very welcoming and friendly. They have every kind of toy a kid could dream of. The coffee was great! Their pricing is very reasonable and worth every penny. The owner came in and was friendly as well.
Poor customer service, 18 mo and below area was not cleaned properly. Not to mention the zebra toy (in the baby section) had been put back together with clear tape…… not exactly what you’d call safe. Left an hour early, really disappointed.
I like going here with my toddler, but I personally think the entrance price is a bit high for what they offer. My newly five year old is too big for most of their toys. My almost 3-year-old is just about the perfect age to enjoy most of the things. I had a tea the last time I was there that was really good. I just feel like either the drink prices should be lower or the entry price should be. This would not be my first choice if I was choosing somewhere to go with two or more children, but it's a business that is serving a much needed purpose here in Lee's Summit. The owners are very kind, and the employees seem nice, too.
We had my daughters 2nd birthday party here and it was AMAZING. The staff was very helpful and kept us on schedule!
A great place to have parties and events for your young children! They offer bubble teas to boot!

My Play Cafe has been part of our family’s life since around September/October 2021. We love it here. It’s like a home away from home. The owners, the staff, and the regulars have become part of our community. My daughter has learned to stand, crawl, climb, walk, and run there. One of her first words was coffee. She asks to go to “my cafe.” This place is a Godsend for families with young children.
A great place for the family to play. It’s nice to be able to relax and let the kids have fun. The biggest positive is that they limit the number of kids that can come in, so it’s not a ton of kids running around. Definitely better for kids that haven’t hit kindergarten yet. A great place for the littles to play.
This place is SO CLEAN, with a bright, happy environment. My kid had a great time, and relaxing chats for the adults.
We are not living near by, we got recommended to stop by while we are visiting friends in lee summit, My kiddos enjoyed there, they made friends there, cleaned environment, fresh coffee , what a great idea for play and coffee
The reason for the two star rating IS:. I am Grandma. Had to take my shoes off. Ice Cold feet on a very cold day!!! Next day I had a cold:(. Never again will I set my shoeless feet on that ice cold floor! Girl was outstanding in service!
The best birthday party venue for a 2 year old! We had my daughter's second birthday party here last week and Brittney and Piper were excellent in the help and support of the event, from setup to takedown and everything in between (even offered me a "mom-of-the-birthday-girl drink" on the house!). I could not be more pleased with the way they waited on us and were so instrumental in the decorations, event timeline, communication of expectations/waivers, assistance of serving food and drink/cutting cake, and takedown. I am pleased with how well it went and highly recommend the venue and staff for their outstanding attention to detail and helping this momma create a fun and memorable party for her daughter.
Absolutely amazing!!!!!!! This place is a crunchy moms dream - non toxic cleaning products, organic and natural food options, wooden toys and more! A very calm and welcoming environment. I can’t wait for the Gardner location to open!!!!!
This was the perfect spot for my nieces birthday party!! Hannah and Kenzie were extremely helpful with set-up, tear down, and everything in between. They made sure everything ran smoothly and we could not have asked for more! This is such a fun location and all of the kids had a blast!
My 2yr old son and myself an my mom went here for our first play day had an amazing time my son loved it interacting with kids his age and the snacks for our kiddos aswell adults such a great place altogether can't wait for our next play day will definitely be a regular thanks for having us see you soon.
My kids love going to my play cafe! We go at least once a week! Get some coffee and watch the kids play!
My sister took my son and I here while we were in town visiting for the holidays. This place was so fun! My son had a blast with all the different toys and especially the slides! I wish we had something similar where we lived!
This play place is CLEAN!!!! And never overcrowded. Those are two things, sorely missing in any other indoor play area I’ve been to in the city. The owners are attentive and kind, and I feel relaxed and comfortable here while my kids play in a safe clean environment
