I love this place. It's my go to for coffee in Lee's Summit. They roast their own. Several varieties of whole bean you can buy a bag of for home. Their drip coffee is excellent. The Ahadu Special latte is one of my favorite drinks around. Hot or iced, I love it. They have crepes. Only on the weekend I believe. They're really good too. Breakfast burritos are legit. Everything I've had has been good. Teddy and his staff are always friendly. And now they have a drive-thru if you like.

Stopped in on a whim and was very glad I did! The staff and ambience couple together to make a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Very friendly baristas and the owner seems like a great guy himself. What really sets this place apart is that they roast their own beans and have their own signature blends of flavors. To me, I usually like just about any little coffee shop I walk into, but this one just seemed a little extra special, so I wrote this review.
Quickly becoming one of my favorite coffee shops in KC. They do their own roasting, are very knowledgeable about their product and supply chain, and everything tastes wonderful.
They are always so friendly. Coffee is excellent and if you get a chance try a crepe. You won’t be disappointed!
Came to Independence to visit family last weekend, and they took us to Ahadu. Such a warm and inviting coffee shop. The savory crepes were to die for! The Ahadu special coffee was the best uniquely spiced coffee I’ve ever had! But what made it perfect was the owners joy in serving every single customer that came through those doors. Can’t wait til we’re in town again because we will definitely be back!

We finally made time to come back here and have crepes. First, the coffee is great. I had a brown sugar and cinnamon latte. The flavors were spot on! For breakfast, I had the ham and egg crepes. She had the lemon and sugar crepes. Both were delicious!! Supporting local businesses is where I put my money. Places like Ahadu are gems and should be posted about. We deserve better than corporate, overpriced, sugar coffee. Just my opinion!

Hands down, best coffee in Lee's Summit. Their Ahadu special is a weakness of mine, I find any reason to treat myself to it. The service is always amazing! The food is yummy too. Highly recommend.
I get a coffee for physical therapy twice a week. It's delicious and my roommate who is learning how to make lattes at home can get questions answered.
This is my favorite coffee shop in Lee's Summit! The Ahadu Special is hands down my favorite and is the reason I haven't been able to quite coffee yet. The chai tea latte is probably the best in town too. They don't over sweeten their drinks which is so hard to find in coffee places. My ONLY complaint is that their weekday early hours are very unpredictable. So give them a call if you you are hoping they'll be open before/around 7am. :)
WOW!!! All I can say is wow! Fantastic food, great atmosphere, friendly staff and absolutely wonderful coffee. I cannot begin to express how good their crepes are!! If you're in the mood for a nice café date or coffee and breakfast, this is the spot! Definitely a hidden gem in this town, and would recommend to anyone AND everyone! My tummy is so happy!!~ 🤤🤤🤤

Close due to staffing?? I've never been here before so I was wanting to experience your business for the first time and you can't even keep the lobby closed but keep your drive through open??? If you're going to be one of those businesses that put up a piece of paper that says closed due to staffing anytime you feel like it. I live in Raytown and I drove here to experience your coffee.....to bad you don't want to acquire new customers.
The people here were very friendly and the latte was great! I had a latte with white chocolate and brown sugar.
Excellent coffee. Ahadu Special and the Chai tea is AMAZING!! Overtones of ginger, cinnamon, & cardamom. Teddy, the owner, really takes care of u!!
