Made in KC Cafe - Downtown

Smallish, but with a solid array of Made in KC souvenirs plus bottles from the local breweries and distilleries. Helpful, enthusiastic staff. And maybe also a hidden away speakeasy?

I've been to five made in kc locations, and this place has the most bar potential, but it is almost completely unutilized. I get staffing is a huge challenge, but not staffing the bar prevents us from making this the afterwork spot. Ordering a drink here seems like you are putting the staff out and that they hate to do it. Really hurts the experience.

A local brand coffee, must try and the place is nice with wifi. You can relax and enjoy inside the store while enjoy your coffee break. 😊

Pleasant place. Not enough food choices. No vegan options. Coffee was good. It would be good to set up your laptop and work online as a few ppl were doing that.

Cute spot with Kansas City goodies. Coffee was good and staff was nice. It was mostly empty, so plenty of space to sit and work from. Wifi connection was good as well. I took away one star because the music was incredibly loud.

Coffee was good but egg and cheese biscuit was barely better than mcdonalds. Food is not made in house. Arrived only 2 hrs after opening and there was hardly any food available. Staff was unprofessional (bickering across the room kind of thing). Wouldn't go back

The cafe where you have to eat before you visit…because they are ALWAYS out of items on the menu 🤦🏻‍♀️ The staff here are exceptional, friendly and kind. The vibe is trendy and the music is soft enough you can actually have a conversation or work. But I visit every Sunday and they are ALWAYS out of food. I’ve developed a habit of eating before I come…to the cafe…because the cafe doesn’t serve its own menu 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I use this location as a club meeting spot and coworking space…and would love to support them financially when I visit but there’s nothing to buy

Lovely cafe'. Glad I stopped by. I had the vegan 'bacon and egg' biscuit sandwich I believe. Perhaps one of the best vegan sandwiches I have ever had. Number one or two. Should have taken a picture. Also had a hot almond milk latte. Attached to the cafe' is a shop with MIKC merch. Hopefully I stop by again and buy some of the food or clothes items. 🔥

Super cute coffee spot! Nice service and had a good selection of coffees to choice from.

After reading a review saying that the barista insisted that matcha was coffee, I knew I had to visit this place. It’s cozy and adorable, I ordered a matcha latte and…I got a matcha latte. Baristas were friendly and service was quick. They also had matcha powder that wasn’t pre-sweetened, which I appreciated.
