This is an enjoyable morning spot that is neighborhood supported. Has a fun outdoor seating atmosphere in a very calm area. We enjoyed the homemade biscuit with two chicken tenders and maple butter, which all composed into a chicken biscuit. The biscuit was very good, not much stability, not a bad thing 😉. The tenders were tasty the maple butter was good but did not have much maple flavor. The drip coffee was a great morning blend that was mellow. The sidekick enjoyed an iced vanilla cold brew and gave two thumbs up on sweetness and flavor! We will be back.

So cute! The biscuits and jam were AMAZING (order all 3, it's worth it)! We all loved our coffee drinks and breakfast. Can't wait to go back!

Pretty good chic breakfast coffeehouse. Friendly, professional service. Parking is a little tricky ,it's best to walk if possible.

Food was good, and they brought our food out in a timely manner, but I don't like being "suggested" to tip 20 percent when customers are expected to order at the bar and also bus their own tables. If the customer is responsible for everything but food delivery, then they should pay their staff a wage that doesn't depend on the whims of the customers.

Cute little spot with nice outdoor seating. The employees and fellow customers are very sweet. The food took over 30 mins to come out, so be sure to get a delicious coffee to enjoy. The portions were very small. I got the Wonderland salad that was very tasty, but it was a small handful of spinach with toppings. Paid an extra $3 for 2 eggs, making it a $16 salad. Delicious, but not filling and in a small yogurt bowl. I only give this honest review bc I wish they would've spared some more spinach and to serve a proper meal for the price. Thank you!

We stopped in for breakfast after a quick google search. I got the burrito, my wife got waffles with bacon and egg and my kids got hashbrowns with chicken biscuits. Let me tell you, I've been to many breakfast places but nothing touches this. Each item is homemade and made with care but not over the top. Simplistic yet delicious. We all ate a bit of each other's plate and each item was amazing. The biscuits are soft and a little crispy on the edge and are great alone or with jelly. The waffles are fluffy and the butter/syrup ties it in together. The burrito was filling and everything tied together really well. When we finished my son was asking about a cookie up front so we tried a few. They were the same experience we had with breakfast. Sweet and a little bit of salt to offset it. Without a doubt the best breakfast I've had.

Quaint and amazing, you can tell everyone who works here cares and feels invested in their workplace. Good energy! The coffee and food were top notch. They are using quality ingredients, and it shows.

Let’s start by saying that this is a new favorite for me. Unique takes on classics that will leaving you wondering how you made it this long in life without it. Superb service in an inclusive and welcoming environment. 10/10 all day long.

Never been here, downtown, tourist area... Walk in, not one employee acknowledged or greeted us, there were 3 present doing nothing else. After 3 minutes and some investigation we approached a counter with employees and asked if we seat ourselves. They advised us to get menus and order at a counter before sitting even. Seeing it wasn't even 8 am and I'd never seen this menu I sat down to browse. While seated there is an info card at the table explaining how they expect you to buss your table. So they also expect you to work while you're eating there. Menu is super limited and unaccommodating, stating things like no changes or substitutions. Cold unwelcoming atmosphere. Not family friendly. Horrible service. Inhospitable expectations. My advice go anywhere else... Sunrise Cafe is great, dat kitchen too, butter cup, even waffle house trumps this place. If I'm feeling like "counter service" I'll go to McDonald's, they've got you beat too✅ Ps. Nobody was "wrapped up" as I stated above they weren't doing anything else 😒

We waited an hour for our food wondering if they had forgotten us. When I asked about it the lady up front said "yeah, there's a 45 minute - 1 hour wait to get your food." She didn't let us know this when we were ordering. Waiting an hour for your food seems to be common here so do not come to this restaurant if you are hungry. *Edit to Reply to the owner. Actually, when we ordered there weren't really that many people. We walked around and only saw like 15-20 customers sitting around waiting as well. If hour long waits are a regular thing I would suggest expanding the kitchen/cooking staff. It's been the most common complaint in your reviews.

I decided to go here for a breakfast date in Bay st Louis. Unfortunately when we went with the intention of ordering food as well we were told food was a 35 min wait - like the muffins and stuff that were already out. Staff however were friendly and energetic and more than happy to answer questions and serve But no food was ordered. Only drinks which were very good. The purple potato latte stood out and I could resist ordering a purple drink and also for the novelty of purple potatoes in itself. Very nice homely rustic feel to the place. There's is artwork all around which attendants notified me on request all but like 2 pieces are for sale. So maybe u take home drinks and a cool Art piece. There is no parking at this location. (depicted) there's A place with limited parking next door u can use or else try another place to park further down and walk up Going to leave a neutral review untill I can actually try food service here then will update as necessary

I just recently tried Mockingbird Cafe for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I'm hooked. I love their breakfast items and usually get mine to go, but the girls are always so sweet and patient when they answer the phone.
