The chef/owner was very helpful in guiding us through the perfect Sicilian tastes. All the food was authentic and delicious with an atmosphere of urban elegance. Highly recommend.

Cafe Sapori is a great gem in the Winona community. the dessert case is hard to beat. The gelato is always fresh. The staff are always kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

No good. Gnats all over our table. This is a sign of poor hygiene. Sugo pasta not authentic. Hardly any flavor. Arrabbiata with shrimp came out disastrous. Caesar salad was ok. Very disappointed. No no for me :)

I love the idea, execution is/ was lacking. Not having majority of the ingredients is a huge issue that has plagued them since they've opened. No chicken, missing most of the soups. What we were able to order was good but did not make up for not having majority of what we tried to order. This is not the first time I've had this experience, unfortunately. And I have heard from multiple sources of similar experiences. They also never refiled waters.

Cacio e Pepe is three ingredients: spaghetti, Romano, and black pepper. Their menu says it's a cream sauce with white wine and butter making it a totally different dish. It was not good. There was so much pasta water it was like pasta en brodo. The cheese left at the bottom of the bowl was grainy and the whole thing was an off putting brown color. They also seem to use the same pasta noodle for all their dishes, which certainly does not make them authentic. Pasta shapes have a purpose and are related to specific sauces and regions. I have given this place several tries to get it right: the first time was their soft opening so I cut them some slack. The second time was lunch and the sandwich was good but service was terrible, I asked for a glass of water twice and never got it. The pasta was my third and last time. The other issue is that I wanted bread and butter with my pasta and I was forced to buy an entire loaf of bread, the whole thing served to the table with butter pats. No one ever came back to ask how things were or to wrap up the leftover bread to go. The three wait staff spent a lot of time standing around chatting. The last thing I will say is that they bill themselves as an authentic Sicilian cafe, if so they would know that Cacio e Pepe is Roman!

So we stumbled upon this gem in Winona - Sapori di Sicilia! Shared Sugo pasta and a porchetta sandwich. The cafe also have an amazing Dolci and gelato case. We held back and shared a raspberry tart! We returned the next morning to pick up some of the onion and the rosemary rolls for home.

A little bit of Sicilian hospitality and outstanding pasta and sandwiches. Dolce and gelato are out of this world. A rare find in Minnesota. Authentic Sicilian offerings. Take home some baguettes and rolls and croissants.

Their Ciabatta bread loaves are probably the best bread in the world. Crispy on the outside with air pockets the size of golf balls. Very reasonable prices. You can get a huge capicola sandwich on the great ciabatta bread for less than what it costs at Subway.

I was extremely impressed. I loved the deli style order at the counter eat at the table concept. Everything from the food to the interior design to the dish ware was chosen with great care and passion. Definitely check this place out!

Beautiful restaurant, great service, good prices. Ordered pasta. I liked the Cacio E Pepe but I thought the Carbonara was maybe a little lacking in flavor (tasted like flour). I would come back and try other menu items.

Cute spot. The food is decent but needs some help. Out of quite a few things we wanted to order. The place has a ton of potential and could be great with some good management and attention to detail. The staff is great and friendly. A little consulting from a good Sicilian chef and this place could be gold.

A bit of Little Italy in Winona, MN. Great atmosphere and delicious pasta, with exceptional breads. My sister enjoyed her latte. Everything was reasonably priced. Went back the next day for more rosemary buns, which were well worth going back for more. Staff had recommendations, which were good. Nice they knew what they served, which I am finding that a lot of restaurants' staff can't make recommendations.

Amazing sandwiches. I come here often for them, especially the capicola. I've tried the pasta a couple times and I am not a fan.
