My favorite Spyhouse location. Love the neighborhood and the outside seating.
decent coffee. super loud music playing at all times. staff will ignore you unless you have a man-bun or yoga pants.
Ya know what’s really disappointing? Rushing across town, passing another coffee shop that also closes at 8, and getting denied service at Spyhouse during posted business hours. Should have went to Caribou.
I did not enjoy as much as the Spyhouse location compared to the NE Minneapolis. The price of an iced vanilla latte with nonfat milk was $8.25, which seems way overpriced. The seating was comfortable and the baristas were friendly. It was slightly chilly because the window was open even though it was 35 degrees.
Probably one the best roasters and espresso drink makers in the cities. Several of these, but this is the only one in Saint Paul. Good location on Snelling, on the corner, charming older building, parking can be a little challenging in winter. Coffee is good. Other locations have been good too. Spy house does a good job of making “local” coffee shops and making good coffee 👍
Great atmosphere. Simple, casual, excellent quality. I am typically a plain black drinker but the “Spygirl” is amazing. It’s a latte with lavender and honey. Can’t get enough.
Styling Burrista, flavorful latte, decent atmosphere 👌
Worth the wait for non-chain espresso drinks ..served in real cups! Try the croissants - amazing!
Staff and customers are very friendly. Drink selections are fabulous and unique. Small and cozy interior.
Their coffee is always spot on here! Great quality espresso that is joined with rich flavors of choice. The staff are very kind and offer suggestions on the menu when asked. Yet, the atmosphere is pretty gloomy for my taste and it's pretty tight as well- limited space.
Went out of my way to walk here since its open till 8. Some long haired, facial haired worker today kept interrupting me while I was ordering from the person behind the counter. Unfriendly tone, loudly in a quiet shop went out his way to tell me all the things they didn't have before i could finish my sentence. Seemed like he was mad I even walked in. I left partially because they couldn't make me a Thai coffee but mostly because this worker was so assertively unfriendly. Posting this same day.
Love this place! I always try to give it my business when I’m nearby. I bring my friends, and their friends too. The rewards program is nice too! Super nice staff, lgbtqia+ friendly, quiet study/work space. And they’re open pretty late for a coffee shop too which I love because I’m a late evening coffee gal. The spy girl latte is my absolute favorite drink there!
I love the Spyhouse Coffees around town, but I won't be back to this one. They had the floor mopped and chairs up over an hour before close, which made it unwelcoming to stay much longer. Definitely not the atmosphere I am looking for, or what Spyhouses usually offer.
Love that there is a Spyhouse in our neighborhood. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks are amazing, however, a little expensive. Music is on point. And cafe is cost.
Great ambiance and great coffee. Friendly staff.
Love that old school coffee shop vibe! Delicious classic coffee and specialty drinks made with house-made syrups. It takes a little time but it is so worth it. The big chains just CAN'T deliver at this level and with this charm.
This is a much more intimate spyhouse compared to other locations. Everything was great!
Best coffee place on earth, it’s comfy and warm just what we need in the cold seasons. My favorite is the Caramella coffee and continues to be so to this day! Would recommend for a quick coffee and a nice little pastry.
I love the way they serve tea and that they have vikings and goddesses pastry
Good coffee, nice outdoor seating area although it's next to the sidewalk smoking area. As with other Spyhouse locations, staff is a bit gruff. I suppose that's the brand vibe though.
