Carl was the best! Talk about a unique mixture of a coffee shop, church, and grocer. This little gem of a spot brings a mixture of culture, community, and Christ. Who can complain about a $3 coffee?
Stopped in today for the first time and was really happy with the experience. There's no sign on the building - it's just directly across from the laundromat. Carl, the proprietor, is very charismatic and friendly. To my surprise, Tuesday is free coffee day! There are a few shelves of staple goods, like cereal, oil, canned goods... I had the cold brew with a shot of white chocolate. Perfect way to start the day! There is plenty of seating. I could see this being a good place to work from, although I didn't notice if there is WiFi.
Very good coffee at a solid price. The atmosphere is unique in a good way, and the owner is very friendly. Definitely worth checking out
Happened upon Storehouse while out on a walk and I was not disappointed! Carl is super friendly and the drinks are delicious and affordable. There is lots of seating and free wifi too! The store also has a discount grocery and event space - Carl is doing great things for his community.
Carl was extremely friendly and welcoming and the “almond joy” latte that he recommended was excellent *and* cheap. I didn’t realize until I walked in that it’s in the same space as a church, and that environment Definitely isn’t for everyone—but if you can tolerate listening to xtian music for as long as you’re sitting and sipping on your coffee, it seems like a great place.
Probably the friendliest coffee shop in St. Paul
Gave me a free coffee because it was "free coffee Tuesday". Cool I'll take it! Super friendly owner and inviting vibe. The space is comingled with a budget grocery shelf. All around A+ community action spot.
