I have been going to Tin Tea since moving to town and have nothing but good things to say. Both the food and drinks are wonderful and are made with care. I also always feel welcome!
The pork sandwich was really good, tastes like a spring roll with pieces of pork on a delicious bread. It's a large portion. The spring rolls, which I ordered, will have to keep as leftovers, they look very fresh. Simple eating area with a few tables, self seating. Out of curiosity, I ordered the strawberry tea, smallest size was just over $5, it was good, but overpriced in my opinion. I would recommend this restaurant for a nice lunch.
Tin Tea is an amazing little shop that has the world’s best boba!!! Every drink I’ve had from here has been perfection and Chau the owner has made the store such a fun vibe. Live Laugh Love Tin Tea!
Heh my friends and I absolutely loveeee tin tea!! The staff is so nice and we never have any issues when we go! Id recommend the matchata (genius idea) + the pork banh mi.
Not greeted or even aknowledged upon entry. Line if there was one was long. Very frustrating...

been coming here for over a year and it’s still the best boba place ever :) every time its amazing drinks, atmosphere, employees, and food. i love the variety and being able to customize drinks with extra flavor and pearls, plus the seating area has great vibes. fav things to get here are brown sugar boba, tofu bánh mì, and coconut tea with peppermint flavoring, lychee popping pearls, and tapioca.
It's always really busy in here, good for them! Fantastic idea to open a boba shop in Northfield. But the real secret is their banh mi sandwiches! The cold cut is the most authentic, definitely the best you can find south of MPLS. Fresh crisp baguette, good pate, and a few choices of meats if you don't want traditional. I wish they pickled their veggies and daikon, but still kills the craving for a very hard to find food.
Tin Tea is a must go to!! The Banh Mi sandwiches are the best around. My favorite drink is a dragon fruit tea with passion fruit pearls. My kids love the wide variety of drinks and the the Banh Mi sandwiches. The owner and staff are top notch, very welcoming and super friendly!!
Good tea and great staff, but they only fill reusable cups if its a cup you bought from their store. Management was communicative and a positive change will hopefully be coming in the future!
I love Tin Tea a lot. Their employee are so nice, respectful and effective workers. Tin Tea is growing their quality day by day. Their bobas is getting better and better. And I also love their Banh Mi Cha Lua. It is authentic and so good.
Great atmosphere, the staff is always so kind and fast! EXCELLENT tea (my favorite flavor is the strawberry or pineapple). Owner, Chau, is very sweet and works tirelessly to make her company a success.
Absolutely incredible boba, bahn mi, and spring rolls. We eat here at least once or twice a week, and it's consistently delicious! You must come on the weekend for spring rolls!! Great drink, food, and service. HIGHLY reccomend. We 💛 Tin Tea!!!
Good food and drinks. A very warm place for you to hang out with your friend. I love the Thai boba milk tea and the spring rolls. The customer service is also very good. ❤️❤️
The staffs are very friendly plus the vibe of the place are pretty nice. The drinks is lovely and I would love to buy more.

Tin Tea is my favorite boba shop of all time (even better than some of the ones in the cities!) Hardworking and friendly employees.They also have the best bahn mi sandwiches and spring rolls. I definitely recommend stopping here and they are a great addition to Northfield!
First time here, and they did not disappoint! Order was taken by the Owner; Chau and she was so sweet and helpful! My daughter had the Iced Chai Tea, and I had the Iced Jasmine Milk tea. Both teas tasted amazing! I also got a cold cut Bahn Mi sandwich, and the sandwich really hit home, flavors were on point, and they even customized it to my liking. Would definitely recommend! 🥖+🧋=🩵🩷
