The iced Atomic Blondie is the best iced drink I've ever. So well-balanced and not too sweet. Also their espresso is excellent.

Great matcha. Nice inside. Wish the outdoor seating was better.

My go-to networking spot! Funky drinks, great accessibility, easy on/off for the freeway.

This place has good coffee I guess, but I think the best think about it is the way Tall Thomas sings you a lullaby if you get an upset tummy.

Great coffee and atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend for remote work however. The WiFi was spotty and weak. Had trouble with zoom, slow load speeds and even playing music on Spotify was choppy. But if you don't mind troubleshooting on occasion or have a bit of patience, this is a fun remote work location!

The Matcha Pikachu is the best matcha drink I’ve ever had in my life!! It’s currently a specialty drink but I’m hoping they can add it to their menu for good. I’ve had other drinks here prior to this being out on the menu and everything else I’ve had has been really good too but I just had to rave over the matcha.

Great coffee shop with fun concoctions. Plenty of people, visiting, studying, and working. You do need to pay for parking, so keep that in mind.

Excellent coffee!! Wow! Limited food: packaged sandwiches, but very good fir that category. A good variety of baked treats, though. 😉 People can bring in tacos later in the week that are sold nearby.

my partner went in to get me a coffee and Adam (the manager!!) was incredibly rude and dismissive. he didn't listen to their order and was talking to the barista the whole time taking the order. they kindly asked for the drink iced and he simply said "no you didn't" when given a hot drink. I called to talk to the manager who, surprise, was gone for the day. he would rather rush through an order and ignore customers and get out early. there wasn't even a line and the baristas weren't busy, he just decided he didn't need to give decent service. as a manger at a coffee shop myself this is just laughable. very poor customer service on his part. every other barista I've ordered through has been kind and made great coffee. unfortunately I can't see myself going back to a coffee shop that is so dismissive to queer POC coming through their line.

Fun atmosphere and good coffee but customer service is lacking. Barista rolled his eyes and shook his head when I asked if we could get our coffee in a reusable cup instead of a single use when ordering. Every other person in the place had a reusable cup so I’m confused why it was such a big deal. He then proceeded to complain to his coworker about it loud enough for me to hear. The weirdest experience but there are enough other coffee shops in the area that I don’t need to waste my time with that.

I remember fondly coming here with a friend of mine—made good memories with a cup of coffee in a cold winter :)

one of the baristas was growling at me as she poured whole milk, creamy and white, into a cup. We made eye contact. I looked away. I think I liked it.

I ❤️ this coffee place. Had the busy beaver this time...highly recommend! There wasn't a seat in the place so we left for a museum. Really good!

The cool thing about Five Watt is each location has their own unique specialty drinks that are different for each location! At the Hennepin Ave one I tried their all day/all night iced and it was delicious. It was one of their sweeter drinks which I prefer. I usually ask baristas what the sweeter drinks are before ordering, and the barista at five watt mentioned that most of their drinks could be adjusted for sweetness based on personal preference. Another great perk of this location is the large free parking lot next to it. Totally eliminates the stress of street parking in downtown! I’ve been wanting to try five watt for a while now and I’m glad I finally got to. There’s lots of seating and free Wi-Fi as well to get work done. Love the atmosphere and it’s very spacious!

This place is one of my absolute favorites to actually hang out and unwind. They also don't use commercial syrups so it gives you a superior latte.

Secured wifi, nice atmosphere, and a great tasty cup of coffee. Great stop to work remote at. I got the all day all night and tried to enjoy my coffee slowly but I just wanted to chug it because it was delicious! The foam on top is what got me! Pricey drink but worth it.
