Couldn’t ask for a better or cooler local coffee shop. Great beans, coffee, and pastries. Staff is wonderful.
Friendly little coffee shop that's open late. Big windows for people watching and lots of desk seating that works well for studying with a laptop. They roast their own beans in-store and they're the best around!
Loved this spot. A great cup of coffee, the atmosphere was great. Pastries looked great, but I didn't have any.
Honestly the coffee is just bad. Idk why this place has such high ratings, theres much better coffee to be had in the area. I tossed out my drink before I finished it. Id avoid this place.
Coffee had good, bold flavor- not acidic. The blueberry muffin was amazing. Limited seating but we were getting to go anyway
I had to go check out why this place had such freakishly good reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Great coffee in a quirky little place with very nice people
Located in arguably the worst parts of Minneapolis, I found this gem. John was happy to greet me, I asked a few questions about the store and he didn't hesitate to share some details about the history. Nothing but good vibes at Code Blu, I recommend the "All American". I will be stopping in anytime I'm in the area. Thanks to John and family for not giving up in the past few years!
This place honestly looks a lot different in person than on the photos, which it’s still a fun spot to have coffee and study. Overall their coffee is pretty good, especially for the price, though I wouldn’t say amazing. Not sure if I’ll be going back, but I’m not against it by any means.
This place is a gem! A classic south Minneapolis coffee shop with neighborhood charm.
Great coffee and great service!
Offers delicious coffee. Does great plain black coffee, espresso, or fancy sugary coffee drinks. Favorite is their macadamia white chocolate mocha.
Super cute coffee shop...on the small side but they made a great almond mocha and the cherry 🍒 danish was delightful. Easy parking too.
Code Blu is everything you hope for in a local coffee spot. The ambience is great, the drinks are good, the main barista recognizes probably half of the customers as regulars! I haven't had a drink yet I don't like. I have enjoyed the chai latte, zebra mocha, and vanilla latte.
Nice little spot to get some coffee!
Great coffee, better to spend locally than Nationally.
Best coffee in the twin cities! You can buy freshly roasted beans there too!
Great like neighborhood coffee shop with friendly staff. While very busy, never seemed that crowded. Thanks Starbucks for closing a few blocks away, otherwise i might have found this gem. Besides wide variety of coffee and a couple types of tea, they also have great tasting Danish rolls, the cherry filled was a good morning kick start. They sell a variety of roasted coffee beans if you wish to bring the flavor home with you.
Put all the best qualities of 90s coffee shops together and you'll come up with Code Blu. It's full of quirks and might be the coziest spot in Seward on a winter day. If you're looking for a neighborhood coffee spot, this is your place!
This XL Vanilla oat milk latte is giving me life. Super good.
Super friendly staff, Fred. Learn my name in one day! I have been coming here since I started working in the Seward neighborhood and it's a great way to start my week. Love the mint mocha. They have great pastries as well! Real neighborhood place that feels great to support! Coffee is definitely better than chain places like Starbucks
