Couldn't get down isles because of tons of boxes, very rude cashier and some employee pushing a cart around narrowly missing me and other customers. If I find another gas station in town, I won't ever come back here. Plus side... They have gas...

Our daughter's car broke down near GM and she visited the store. I think the man's name was Wes, but he was very friendly and really helped her feel better about the situation. She was very stressed waiting for us to drive up from MPLS, Wes was one of the folks in GM that helped her through the long wait.
Clean restrooms, bait shop, food, gas, small grocery store what more could you ask for.
I’m terribly late writing this review. And I feel guilty for it.. About 3 years ago on our way back from the Gunflint Lodge after a wedding. My family and I pulled into holiday to fill up our vintage truck. In the process of leaving the starter failed. Not only was my truck dead, but I had my three young children and dog with me. All this happed on a Sunday, and no local parts stores were open. So we resorted to family living in the Duluth-Superior area to track down a starter and drive for me to change. Anyways, in the process I spoke with the manager in holiday (he was early 30’s very polite) apologized for the hassle and told him our plans, asked if it would be ok to push the truck into a spot while we waited for our part to arrive. He said no problem. About 5 minutes later he came out with ice cream for my daughters and small stuffed animals for them to play with, after I begged to pay him for such a nice gesture he refused. He offered whatever we needed while we waited. Such a nice guy, he really left an impression with me. I’m not sure if he still works for holiday, but if he does I still think about this day from time to time and how he made it such a positive day for us.
It’s a nice holiday it’s alright needs bigger bathroom and new pumps I went down to the Marathon to use the bathrooms

DO NOT BUY WOOD FROM HERE! We paid $20 for 3 bundles of wood. First night we attempted a fire but no luck so we kept the wood inside for an additional 3-days to dry and still no burning... wood simply chars without catching.
Over paid for gas and the guy behind the counter ran out after me with corrected change. Heroic honesty.
Bought a fishing license here and the gentleman who helped me was very nice and friendly.
